I got news for you tough guy, I wrote that update. I don't need to be insulted by you jackasses, I can do that perfectly fine all by myself. I always gain 20 lbs between lHalloween and Valentines Day. And every summer those pounds come right back off sweatin my ass off in the bee fields.

And as for dragging out that muley, you better not worry about me; cause I'll let that mountain lion stalking us take your slow ass down, and I'll save myself. Fricken Cheesey wants to come too - I might as well just take an ambulance with us so I have a defibulator and oxygen tank with me too.

Anybody else with a physical disability want to come to the Badlands hunting mule deer? I can see it now Cheesey and 93 posting and Dumbass Dakota walking the draws.

I seriously couldn't tell whom wrote that.. I assumed your bride was twisting your chain.. like mine does now and then. Edit.. reread it this morning.. guess I missed that last sentence yesterday.. lol. In my defense I was laughing as I read the above. ;)

I think it a passage right to gain some pounds from hunting season til the thaw.. this Superbowl run hasn't helped either.. weekends revolve around the game and I don't seem to dedicate myself as I should.

Now on this little hunting deal.. you mean you don't sit on the flatlands out there and shoot them from a couple hundred yards? Here I was under the assumption that there was an easy button to hunting those unknowing mulelys. ;)

It is not like they have thousands of acres of woodlands to hide in and use like the whitetails here.

Lots of big hills and long draws. Plenty of road hunting in ND but in the Badlands, you have to be able to walk and climb and then drag the critter from anywhere from a hundred yards to a couple miles. No off-roading, but the advantage is not having to kiss some asshole farmer's ass to hunt. The badlands are about 90% National Grasslands.

Don't know about woods hunting. The tree looked pretty good out here last year. 🙂

So, if I lose the weight I've vowed to lose (80 pounds this year, 160 total*), can I get in on this hunting thing in, say, 2013?

:)

*Actually, technically its only 69 and 149 now.

Man....would THAT be SWEET!!! Getting to go out hunting with you guys. I know it's just a pipe dream, but what a sweet one.

I have gained about 3 pounds since the fall. I had actually gained more, but once realizing it, i started being more carefu and knocked a few pounds off.
It's a never ending battle, for sure.

We have 3 rounds to go and she has an MRI in Rochester at the end of June. We're hoping she has some hair back by Christmas. Thanks for asking.
