Alley is impassable at parts..Yes I said alley

Some people do not have a blower and need to shovel..Needless to say if your elderly or can take off work you dont need to get out...

city doesnt do alley and we cant find someone to do it..I been here 3 snows now and no luck..Even before they had no one..One guy has a plow on his truck but only does one person's area and then parks its

So you leave your part drifting over with 5 feet waves of snow

I had to have my boss come get me to take me to work..a co worker is taking me home tonight..And if it doesnt get better I will need a ride again tomorrow.

And most schools are closed tomorrow ..2nd day in a row..I only seen that once, in the 80's

Been warm here. -5 F now (-15 F with windchill factor). I guess it was warmer than it was yesterday, which is nice.

I get crap at work all the time because all I have worn all year so far is my zip up hoodie with a broken zipper (means that I can't zip it up), pants, skullcap and mechanic's gloves. At work I still only wear my t-shirt (we work in the docks of the building, and my station is the closest to the overhead door that all the delivery trucks come in).

We got a good foot and a half of snow here. The landlord gave me an old snow blower to use. I got about half of the driveway done, and the wheel fell off!
I had done a little of the neighbor's drive (we also have an alley we have to use to get to our driveway) and she had come out to shovel. She saw me walking with the wheel (i was gonna walk to the local hardware store to see if they could help me) and she told me to wait for her husband, that he would help me. I am NOT mechanically inclined. So he shows up, and within 20 minutes had the wheel back on for me.
I was SO thankful. The drifts were really bad here. There is no way i could have shoveled it by hand. Especially with my doc reminding me i have heart disease and shouldn't shovel.
So with the help of my neighbor, i got it all cleared.

Mucky Tundra (13-Aug) : With LVN that is; need to see what happens in the next practice
Mucky Tundra (13-Aug) : beast, reading about what happened, it sounded like one of those "two guys collide and are moving slow afterwards" type of deals
beast (12-Aug) : I believe Musgrave has been injured every single season since at least a Sophomore in highschool
packerfanoutwest (12-Aug) : Matt LaFleur: “Highly unlikely” Jordan Love plays more this preseason

Zero2Cool (10-Aug) : Packers LT Jordan Morgan did not allow a single pressure across 23 pass-blocking snaps vs. Jets last night, per PFF
Mucky Tundra (10-Aug) : With buckeye and the reasonable couple, we're currently sitting at 10

    Zero2Cool (9-Aug) : Woo-hoo
TheKanataThrilla (9-Aug) : NFL Network is broadcasting the game tonight, but not in Canada. Not sure why as no local television is showing the game.
beast (8-Aug) : But the Return from IR designations had to be applied by the 53 man cutdown.
beast (8-Aug) : It's a new rule, so it's not clear, but my understanding was that they could be IR'd at any time
Mucky Tundra (8-Aug) : *had to be IRed at 53
Mucky Tundra (8-Aug) : beast, I thought the designate return from IR players had to be IR at cutdowns to 53, not before
beast (8-Aug) : It's a brand new rule, either last season or this season, prior, all pre-season IRs were done for the season
beast (8-Aug) : But the Packers would have to use one for their return from IR spots on him, when they cut down to 53.
beast (8-Aug) : I think the NFL recently changed the IR rules, so maybe the season might not be over for OL Glover.
