Really good comments. I guess my opinion, right or wrong, is that he may have gotten a little cocky. I thought he only had a few holes to fill this year. He needed to fill an offensive guard spot and find a pass rusher. If he had done that, I think we might 8 and 3 rather than 5 and 6. He really screwed up with this punter too, but nothing you can do about that now. It feels as if he just hates to mess with free agents, but this young team was so close and especially with putting all his eggs in one basket with Rogers, I think had he paid attention to both lines with free agency we'd be back in the running for the super bowl. Instead, the only thing we can hope to accomplish is be a bad (one and out) playoff team.

I give him a C since his 1st 4 years will probably end with a 33-31 record.

He hasn't adequately addressed the O-line.
He just can't seem to pull the trigger in freeagency ( yeah, Iknow, Pickett and Woodson) which I think has put us in a bit of a hole (but saved us money).
The front seven doesn't look that good, except for Kampman ( no decent backup for Jenkins).
The punting situation is abyssmal ( yeah, Stock said get him, but who is the boss).
The jury is still out on Grant due to the not very good offensive line.
I think there are some coaching issues that have to be addressed.

If not for the 13-3 year Ted could very well be a D-.

On the whole, I think Ted Thompson grades out very well.

Seen him.. nope.. but opening morning with a strong wind from the south west and that gaseous smell of cheese coming riding the breeze.. he is hunting in that ole direction..

I think he cut the cheese more than once too.. freaking Cheesey. Knocked out half the deer population for the AM.. citing lack of gas masks.

Frost for Ryan??!!

I found this move "off the wall". Heck, Jon was our leading rusher last week. We got trench trouble, and this is what gets done? Hodge goes, Bush stays? I'm not seein' it, unless it's a Ted Thompson 50/50 move or something... total disruption of the punting/kicking game, coupled with the retention of a semi-qualified Bush as ST player. I don't really give a crap about directional punting when my punter's butt is hanging over the back of his own end zone, and no one can tell me this new aquisition is superior in that situation.
