This game should have never even been close. The only reason it was, was due to that punt return by Sproles. How many consecutive years are your STs gonna just literally suck total shit? Then there was another one where Sproles got it back into our territory. Yet ANOTHER TD. Fuck you, Slocum. Do the honorable thing and fall on your goddamn sword, asshole.

Similarly, Cobbs return for a TD was not, even in any sort of miniscule way, the result of Slocum. Let's give full credit to the players there.

Really? I mean I can understand being mad at another ST error... but jumping the gun with assumptions on the reason? Have you even seen a replay of that punt return TD?

I'm pretty sure a couple of our guys slipped when they could have easily made the tackle...

Oh I'm not pissed. I'm just really sick of letting these teams hang around like that. This is why we barely squeaked into the playoffs last year. Letting teams hang around like that is dangerous. Today, we didn't have that big fateful mistake that sometimes puts us behind.

As someone pointed out, how can you blame Slocum for the TD we gave up but fail to acknowledge the TD his unit scored? Better yet, why not give Sproles and Cobb credit for being the playmakers they are.

But yeah Sproles killed them... and the gunner couldn't quite get there and they were so close... but the guys blocking our gunners did an amazing job stopping them at the last little bit...

These STs have sucked week in and week out for years. I've never seen an offensive guard run 73 yards against Capers' defense.
Yeah, the defense struggled, but they came up big when they had to. We played a very good team, and they got some yards on us. But even when we play shitty teams, the STs still suck. Almost cost us a big game today. Kept the game close. One big mistake would have cost us the game. It could have been a blowout.

If I'm understanding correctly, it's Slocum's fault for the Saints punt return TD, but Slocum gets no credit for Randall Cobb's kickoff return for a TD?

I think Slocum is the new Jarrett Bush.
