Don't forget, lost in the SB rush of last season, the 2010 Packers accomplished something that no other team (that I can remember) has ever accomplished:

Two teams fired their head coaches after their teams were utterly humiliated on the football field by GB.

That those two teams were the Cowboys and the Vikings just makes it sweeter--if you'd asked me at the beginning of the season which two teams I'd most like to see that happen to, those two would have ranked at/near the top of that list.

Bwahahahahaha 👍 🖐 👍

Yeah, I know we overcame alot of injuries and stuff and were even favored to go all the way before the season, but was our SB really good enough? I just thought we underperformed for much of the season and lost to teams we should have dominated. MM's teams always have to go through that midseason slump. I mean let's face it, we barely squeaked into the playoffs.
We didn't really get to lord it over other fans and I never really felt confident that we were gonna slam dunk it. In '96, we blew teams out.

The dropped TD passes to open receivers behind the secondary. The weird bounce on a fumble going out of bounds. The Calvin Johnson non catch alone gives us the 2 seed. On top of losing so many players including half of our top 4 offensive weapons and 6 LBs. Saying they didn't earn it is just looking for an excuse to bash the Packers.

I think it counts more than in '96 because they showed more character and heart.

The Packers were physically better than everybody they played. Whether the won or not. It just showed more in the last 6 games.
I want to go out like my Grandpa did. Peacefully in his sleep.
Not screaming in terror like his passengers.

Okay, I had a much longer post typed but inadverdently hit a link that destroyed my post before it could post. To sum it up:

I think your question is stupid (no offense) because if the team was an underachiever and had to fight through slumps yet still won the SB it seems to me it would mean more than if it had dominated the entire season.

Also, if you wanted to you could ask picky questions about the earlier SB wins as well, but it doesn't change the fact that the Packers won those Super Bowls in fair competition. Every other team had the opportunity during those years to win but didn't. Overcoming the odds is what makes it special.

Once again, no offense.

If you think you can do better. Put on a jock and and some cleats get out there and show them. Otherwise STFU. They won.

It doesn't matter if they would have won because the final FG attempt by Pittsburgh had been hit by a pigeon flying across the field that deflected the ball and it hit the cross bar and bounced away.

THEY STILL WON DESPITE FAILING TO MEET THE "NERDMAN STANDARDS OF EXCELLENCE". And every single one of them can live with that for the rest of their lives.

Oh and so can most of their fans.

How many Lombardi Trophies did the Green Bay Packers have before February 6, 2011?

Three.

How many Lombardi Trophies do the Green Bay Packers have after February 6, 2011?

Four.

The counter incremented by one.

It counts.
