I came across this list  of the greatest drummers of all time. I have to say I can not name 100 drummers little alone rank them.
But in looking over the list I was surprised to see Ringo Starr was considered 13 best every and then glancing down the list Mick Fleetwood 76 and Larry Mullen 78?

Give me a drummer who was innovative (Keith Moon, Ian Paice), a drummer who's an insane workaholic (Terry Bozzio, Dave Lombardo), or a drummer who can play multiple styles (Simon Phillips - let's not forget he even once filled in for Judas Priest when they were inventing what became Speed Metal and Thrash Metal).

Ringo Starr doesn't belong that high on the list. That right there is a popularity pick. But otherwise, the list isn't that bad.

I missed this part of the page last time so I thought I would add it.

36.Vinnie Paul? Are you kidding me? If it wasn't for Vinnie Paul's drumming, pantera never would have been pantera. All thrash metal bands and hardcore metal bands (avenged sevenfold, slipknot, etc.) Can thank Phil Anselmo, Dimebag Darrell, Rex Brown, and Vinnie Paul for revolutionizing music. Not a better live heavy metal drummer out there than Vinnie Paul, and I would know.

Sorted by (band) name recognition?

I mean, maybe I'm a little biased, but seriously, no Matt Helders from the Arctic Monkeys (Look up some of their stuff), but Dean Castronovo at 136?...

List is distinctly missing something.

A hint or six: Buddy Rich, Art Blakey, Max Roach, Jack DeJohnette, Peter Erskine, Gene Krupa.

It's like listing great guitar players and ignoring Les Paul and Chet Atkins.
