I'm really curious to see if this happens and where he lands. I think the Texans might be the best team that's just needing a QB to put them over the top, perhaps the 49ers too?

If he is cut, where do you think Peyton Manning will sign?

28 Million (After 20+ last season) vs Will he be able to play and stay healthy = He will be cut.

I think the more apt question, is what type of contract will he get upon the market and will some team be foolish enough to guarantee a large portion of it than where he lands.

Personally.. I don't see him staying healthy upon his return.. throwing a ball vs taking a shot are two different things. We will see, but I am sure in the hell glad we are not in a position to take that risk on him.

Peyton would fit with a team that has a window of time to win a championship, not one closing.

Teams that meet that with QB questions.

Jets.. albeit that window is closing.
Ravens.. Not sold on Flacco as the man, however the defense doesn't have much more time.

Texans.

49ers. Although that would be a dagger to swallow after a productive season with Smith. If Peyton goes down, that would throttle Harbaugh's future there.

Chiefs have a ton of pieces.

Broncos have a ton of pieces, a defense that is stout and Manning might be enough to sell the fanbase to push Tebow aside and let him develop.

I don't see the Skins, Fins, SeaChickens and Cardinals as true opportunities to win a ring in the near future.

Fins maybe.. but that offense has a ways to go.

Bears make a ton of sense.. but they are neck deep in Cutler.

The Vikes don't have a window to win in the near future.

The Jags are a mess so are the Browns.

A wildcard would be the Cowboys if they could move Romo.. it is apparent that he is not the man in Dallas to take them to the promise land.

None of this take into account the salary cap implications it might take to land Manning.

So to sum up my guess... I have no clue.

I will say the Chiefs.

I think that the Colts cutting Manning has been a no-brainer since they locked up the #1 pick in the draft. I think he'll end up with the Dolphins or the Seahawks.

I think Peyton will look at a team that is close to winning. The team must have an excellent O-line. And I really think he would prefer to play in the AFC. I think if he ever met his brother in a playoff game, he would prefer that it be in the Super Bowl.

He lives in Florida... I'm thinking Miami...Jake Long is pretty damn good.... that defence isn't that bad either.

Bringing this back to the Packers. If Miami takes Peyton, the Browns have the inside track on RGIII from a draft perspective. Where do you think that leaves Matt Flynn? Seattle grabbing another one of our back-ups?

I know it was likely he was going to get cut, almost certain, but it had not yet been official and I don't like boasting facts unless it is a fact, so (kindly) fuck off! ;-)

I was wondering, does Peyton Manning have to clear waivers or can he simply sign to any team right now? I read a report he could sign with any team, but I am not sure they considered waivers in their thinking.

I saw on TV where's it's official, he was released.
I wonder how he will do in a different town.
I hope he doesn't go to Chicago. I think he's better then Cutler.

I really don't know where he'll go, but it'll be interesting to me if he goes to a team that is not in favorable climate or a dome. I know some have blasted Peyton Manning's stats because he played so many games in a dome, I bet they would like to see him have to play a good majority outdoors on a regular basis.

Maybe they are just playing on the division rival Favre to Viking scenario.

I didn't think that the Texans had much in the way of cap space either.
