Finland has never been a socialist country since we gained independence.

As for preserving rights, the US has steadily been stripping them away from you since 2001, and most of the people in your country seem to be completely oblivious to this.

I'm not saying it's not happening everywhere but still, it's kind of naive to think the ones who hold the power give a crap about the freedom of their people.

As for economic freedoms, we still got those. But us taxpayers get to bail out the major corporations (banks for instance) when they fail. Guess who gets to pay for that? So even with economic freedoms, that's with an asterisk.

But look at it this way. Let's say you were doing everything right. You never lied. You never fudged numbers. You paid your taxes on time. You made a budget and you stuck to it. Should you be bailing out the banks?

But alas, going off topic.

But then again.. why the hell are they even insuring and regulating that in the first place. Banks are a business, if they want the risk, they should be allowed to take the profit or loss upon their risk. But digging there, it opens up a whole bigger can of worms to provide more incentive not to save thus drying up the cash flows even more.

Big damn circle... in the short.. I think it can't be blamed solely upon the people themselves.

We are a nation of spenders.. at every level.

Back to this facebook deal.. I as an employer reserve the right to deny access to the account while at work.. that is the end of my rights as an employer to access the information.

I wonder when employers will begin to ask for email passwords. Why not banking passwords while they are at it, so they can monitor your financial transactions to ensure your integrity and compliance with the law?

back to the derail subject...yes zombie i agree the banks enjoyed the 'fruits' but didn't have to pay for it in the end. but are we a bunch of complete idiots who seriously can't understand that what the bank SAYS we can afford - we really can't?? common sense - where ARE you??

we shout at the top of our lungs - the gov't did this - they need to be more fiscally responsible, why the hell do they think they can spend spend spend without getting in trouble & yet WE as a collective nation do the exact same thing.

yep. i hated that! if they deemed you financially 'irresponsible' they could choose not to hire you OR hire you & watch your credit thru your employment & THEN deem you financially irresponsible & fire your ass. of course that was awhile back - i'm not sure if they still do that now or not.

On one hand, I don't have a problem with this. If an idiot actually gives their employer their password to let them 'rummage' through their facebook.. So be it. Hopefully they remember to change that sucker.

On the other hand, while it's smart for a company to scope out their future employees' facebook profiles to prevent riff raff.. Actually getting ACCESS to potentially make changes to said profile is completely effed up.

Mucky Tundra (13h) : and because it's not a dynasty league (which makes a lot more sense to be ability to trade picks)

beast (2-Aug) : Jerry Jones is infamous for ̶n̶e̶g̶o̶t̶i̶a̶t̶i̶n̶g̶ chatting with players one on one... and going around the agent.
Mucky Tundra (1-Aug) : Oo just saw a blurb saying that Dallas negotiated directly with Parsons and not through his agent
Mucky Tundra (1-Aug) : I assumed that both guys will get paid, just a matter of when or how we get there
Zero2Cool (1-Aug) : McLaurin nor Micah going anywhere. They will get money

beast (30-Jul) : How long will it be down?
beast (30-Jul) : RIP site 😭
Zero2Cool (30-Jul) : Site will die, I have to restart it.
Zero2Cool (30-Jul) : Quinn stinks. Lot of underthrows. (my guess)
beast (30-Jul) : How did Quinn Ewers effect where Golden was drafted?
dfosterf (30-Jul) : All I've experienced was late at night or early morning. I just figured you were doing something in the background
Zero2Cool (30-Jul) : Site sure seems to be down more than up
dfosterf (29-Jul) : 50 cent hookers? I'm moving to Green Bay. I thought it was just real estate that was more affordable there. 😂
Zero2Cool (29-Jul) : Sure seems site going down more than 50¢ hooker
