Hey @Percy_Harvin, @MattForte22... Got a spare room w/ a bunkbed if interested?? ‪#roomies

Analysis of this here :

There's so much we love about this tweet. Matthews leaves room for interpretation. He tweaks a couple of division rivals. He comes up with a great reality show idea. And he subtly reminds us that Matthews hasn't said a word this offseason about his contract despite being one of the most underpaid players in football.

That's right: Clay Matthews, drafted in the same year as Percy Harvin, is due $800,000 this season. Somehow we doubt Forte and Harvin will find the tweet as amusing as we do.

I think Clay knows he will not have a financial worry in his life. His extension will get done sometime this year, I hope.

That said, Harvin and Forte do not have this security as they are the hittees not the hitters - and their careers could end on any given play. They want their financially securtity and in Forte's case, he's earned it. I have no idea what the Bears are thinking, even though the league has changed and made the RB position less important.

The fact that Clay is only making $800,000 this season is troublesome, though. What if he suffers a career ending injury at some point soon (before a new contract)? The rest of his life would likely involve huge financial hardship. I hope he can get a contract he deserves because he is definitely underpaid at this point. I'm really impressed he's not causing a fuss about it, because he probably should be.

Matthew isn't in a contract year... I say wait until this offseason at least until talking new contract. They'll have a year to get it done and we all know they will. Matthews isn't leaving...

The tweet is very funny... and honestly I really wanted the Packers to go after RB Bush (from Oakland) who the Bears signed in FA for very cheap (as the RB market is very down)

I would love the idea of getting Forte in FA... though I got a feeling he's not gonna be cheap (hope he stays away from the Lions and Bears if he gets to FA)

That's funny.

All three have earned huge paydays IMO. I don't know what Forte is set to make this year, but Percy is only due $900k. He's the most versatile player in the division (HB, RB, TE, WR) and quietly had 87 receptions and 900+ yards and 6.6 yards per attempt running the ball (on 52 attempts). Forte is Chi-towns back of the future. And Matthews, as much as I hate him, is the epitome of 'Beast Mode'.

That's a good question. Who is more versatile, Randall Cobb or Devin Hester or Percy Harvin?

Zero2Cool (1-Aug) : McLaurin nor Micah going anywhere. They will get money

Mucky Tundra (30-Jul) : Zero, regarding Ewers, you are correct.
Zero2Cool (30-Jul) : Sadly, this might be our life for awhile. I could put it on another host, but seems it was slower, although more stable
beast (30-Jul) : How long will it be down?
beast (30-Jul) : RIP site 😭
Zero2Cool (30-Jul) : Site will die, I have to restart it.
Zero2Cool (30-Jul) : Quinn stinks. Lot of underthrows. (my guess)
beast (30-Jul) : How did Quinn Ewers effect where Golden was drafted?
dfosterf (30-Jul) : All I've experienced was late at night or early morning. I just figured you were doing something in the background
Zero2Cool (30-Jul) : Site sure seems to be down more than up
