Nick Perry drops pounds to ease transition

Nick Perry reported to camp about 9 pounds lighter, to weigh 264lbs. He initially added weight because he expected (and wanted) to play DE in a 4 - 3 defense. He's now saying he likes the OLB position. It sounds like he's embracing the position.

Good news. I was getting a little worried when I heard Wilde say he looked like a fish outta water at OLB.

He has time, great coaching, and veteran experience to learn from. Now that he seems to be embracing the position change, its only a matter of time for some success.

Glad to see this, 260 or so would seem to be a good weight for Perry. Hope Green can keep him really fired up, yet focused to play smart football. Perry is very talented and I feel we are lucky to have him.

Why is Jerry Kramer not in the Hall of Fame?

I think it is the press gazette trying to keep their photos off other sites. I think it will work if you save to your computer and then upload it.
