We are losing the time of possession and the offense has basically been silent for much of the game.

They have made mental and communication mistakes in the secondary.. but other than that, they have been handed a bad hand in support again from the offense in terms of keeping them off the field.

So no.. it hasn't been worthy to can anyone.

Why Dom Capers should be fired:

-Putting linebackers on WRs consistently. It never works. Because they're linebackers on wide receivers.
-3 man rush. A lot of us like to complain about this one. Because it never works.
-Bush on starting WRs. This could be blamed on Ted Thompson for not providing good CBs perhaps, but no coach in their right mind puts Bush out there against starting wide receivers.
-Playing CBs 5-7 yards off consistently. This is the NFL. Those are automatic receptions. And they are against us every time.
-No halftime adjustments. If what we're doing works in the first half, that's good because we're not changing anything. If we're failing in the first half, that's not good because we're not changing anything.
-Bad tackling. We get great contain, but the tackling is bad. It's pretty much always been bad.
(EDIT)
- GB was the LAST RANKED defense last year.
- GB was LAST in sack% last year. UNACCEPTABLE

These are just a few reasons I can name off the top of my head.

Dom Capers helped us get to the Superbowl and we won it all, and that's great. Since then, and nobody can deny this, the defense has been terrible. We give up points, we give up yards. We get occasional turnovers, but it's inconsistent at best.

This is a very talented roster. There's no reason for it to be playing as badly as it has the last couple years. Woodson, Cm3, Tramon, Raji, Pickett, etc.

I am now 100% on the "Fire Dom Capers" bandwagon. I was almost on it last year but Capers has shown nothing has changed. That's a recipe for failure and as a fan of this team, I won't stand for it. Capers seems out of touch, up in his booth, falling asleep, and not utilizing this talented defensive group.

Some might argue "Dude, it was one game." This season it was. but this has been happening since we won the Superbowl. It seemed like an anomaly last year, but...no, it's a trend. I don't know or care what the reason is, but I'm not going to stand for it. I love the team and think they're too good for this.

Fire Dom Capers.

If there was a rank #33 for the worst defense, we will catch it this year.

Capers' unit is playing for his job this year, no question.

That said, I don't think they cost us this game. Did they suck? Yes, but they did get off the field when it mattered.

I'm not yet ready to hit the panic button on the pass d just yet. With DJ, Perry, and a new safety in the mix, it's not earth shattering that there were communication errors like we saw. The pass rush showed minor glimpses of hope as well. The run D, however, I have no clue what to say about that. It was putrid.

Seems like I heard in the past that Dom has the reputation of turning defenses around initially only to have his defenses slide into mediocrity or worse in the following years.
I doubt he will be fired during the season but I also doubt this defense will get better under him.

We haven't been the same since Cullen Jenkins left, also I think when you lose a super star like Nick Collins your going to have to allow some time for one of the younger safeties to learn the ropes and become confident. I really like Burnett and Id like to see more of mcMillian, also it seemed Woody needed some time to grow into a safety.

My issue with firing capers is how long do you think it will take to recover and learn the new defense, do we revert back to a 4-3 or start a tampa-2 defense? those will take at least a year to grasp not to mention finding the players to fit the scheme. I do think he needs to get some more creativity going though, we need to find something original like when we introduced the psycho package, offensive co-ordinators are getting used to the way we use woody as an anything player.

That's nice and all that you have such a great idea to fire Capers but how exactly does that make the team better this year?

Zero2Cool (6h) : I'm not sure how to kill the draft order just yet so it's not so confusing.
Mucky Tundra (16h) : *to be able
Mucky Tundra (16h) : and because it's not a dynasty league (which makes a lot more sense to be ability to trade picks)

Mucky Tundra (16h) : Zero, I think I preferred my offer: your 1st for my 15th rounder
Zero2Cool (17h) : Keep in mind, we do a draft reorder once all members locked in
Zero2Cool (17h) : You can have my 12th Rd for your 2nd round

beast (2-Aug) : Jerry Jones is infamous for ̶n̶e̶g̶o̶t̶i̶a̶t̶i̶n̶g̶ chatting with players one on one... and going around the agent.
Mucky Tundra (1-Aug) : Oo just saw a blurb saying that Dallas negotiated directly with Parsons and not through his agent
Mucky Tundra (1-Aug) : I assumed that both guys will get paid, just a matter of when or how we get there
Zero2Cool (1-Aug) : McLaurin nor Micah going anywhere. They will get money
Mucky Tundra (1-Aug) : the Synder years or do they take care of one of their own?
Mucky Tundra (1-Aug) : Do the Commanders risk losing a top WR with an emerging QB just because he's turning 30 and potentially risk damaging the rebuild from
Mucky Tundra (1-Aug) : Turns 30 this September, plays at a high level and Washington has some cap space I believe
Mucky Tundra (1-Aug) : More interesting is Washington with Terry McLaurin
Mucky Tundra (1-Aug) : I would imagine Dallas will resolve this issue with a truckload of money
Zero2Cool (1-Aug) : Micah pulling a Myles with trade request

Zero2Cool (30-Jul) : if PH dies, there is packerpeople com available
Zero2Cool (30-Jul) : database is on new host, eventually website will follow
Mucky Tundra (30-Jul) : Zero, regarding Ewers, you are correct.
Zero2Cool (30-Jul) : Sadly, this might be our life for awhile. I could put it on another host, but seems it was slower, although more stable
beast (30-Jul) : How long will it be down?
beast (30-Jul) : RIP site 😭
Zero2Cool (30-Jul) : Site will die, I have to restart it.
Zero2Cool (30-Jul) : Quinn stinks. Lot of underthrows. (my guess)
beast (30-Jul) : How did Quinn Ewers effect where Golden was drafted?
dfosterf (30-Jul) : All I've experienced was late at night or early morning. I just figured you were doing something in the background
Zero2Cool (30-Jul) : Site sure seems to be down more than up
dfosterf (29-Jul) : 50 cent hookers? I'm moving to Green Bay. I thought it was just real estate that was more affordable there. 😂
Zero2Cool (29-Jul) : Sure seems site going down more than 50¢ hooker
