I can't believe I'm saying this, but Sanders didn't tell Collins to blow the coverage so badly.

Quite simply, the Packers forte is bump and run. That's what Al is best at, and has done pretty darn well after returning from his injury. Play to the strengths of your D, which clearly has been proven many a time is not zone.


As for Collins, yeah he blew the coverage real bad, missed a tackle too, but I'm beginning to think he's playing more hurt than anyone realizes, which is really limiting his play. Given that Collins is one to throw his body around, play aggressive, his body can't sustain his style of play...

I wish everyone would stop calling for McCarthy's head. He's not the one that dropped that pass, or the one that hasn't been executing plays, or the guys on defense that probably couldn't even stop the Lions.

Really, I mean, if he has one bad year, you don't need to fire him. Look at Jeff Fisher's team. It's horrible how head coaches get fired every time a team messes up. So STOP calling for McCarthy to get fired.

Regardless of Rogers numbers and rating he simply has failed to make a 4th quarter comeback. After today we'll be 0-6 on games decided by 4 points or less. Until he can overcome that we're screwed.

What i DO have a problem with is the damn play calling. It SUCKED.
MM needs to get someone to call the plays, and a NEW d-coordinator.

It's the same story every week. Our defense just can't get stops. 3rd and 19, 3rd and 17, a 40+ yard pass right after we retake the lead. The defense is just bad, and I would expect Thompson to address this problem this off season.

Rodgers is not 0-6 in games decided by 4 points or less. The Green Bay Packers are 0-6 in games decided by 4 points or less. I'm not saying that he doesn't get some blame, but it is truly unfair to put games on one person when it was obviously a team effort.
