News of actor Roger Moore’s death spread quickly earlier this week causing concern among fans across the world. However the April 2013 report has now been confirmed as a complete hoax and just the latest in a string of fake celebrity death reports. Thankfully, the former James Bond is alive and well.

I just spent part of my lunch watching Friendly Persuasion. Haven't seen it in years.

It is on youtube, I am going to have to watch the full movie tonight or tomorrow.

My wife liked him when he played Beau Maverick opposite James Gardner. I only saw part of one episode so I can't say for sure.
I did see him play Simon Templar in the 1960's tv series The Saint. That wasn't too bad.

I think his style played better in the UK and Commonwealth nations that here.
