Andrew Quarless, another great call. Nate Palmer too.

One to underscore is Josh Boyd. The guy is huge at 6-3 310, with very quick feet. He played alongside Fletcher Cox at Mississippi State in 2011, registering 4.5 sacks. Finished last season with just 5 fewer tackles than Cox who went #12 overall in 2012. Boyd's hallmark is as a run stuffer, but the guy can get after the QB. His numbers dipped at MSU after Cox left, but I'm looking forward to seeing what this player will bring us alongside the likes of Datone, Raji, Pick et al.

This could be good. Boyd may prove to have been a great value pick to bolster our DL depth.

You never know with all of these newly drafted players, but I'm excited to see how Boyd plays.

5 . Sean Richardson - S - Can the guy come back and contribute? If so, I think he might be part of the weekly solution on this defense.

4. Brad Jones - ILB - With the Packers moving on from Bishop... will this guy continue to build off a successful 2012 campaign.

3. Johnny Jolly - DL - Can the guy cut it after the down time.. if he can, he may be part of the rotation on the defensive line.. we need more power players at the point to allow the Backers to flourish.

2. B.J. Raji - NT/DE - Who is the real BJ Raji? Can the guy break through and start to maximize his potential.. if so.. the defense becomes better day one.

1C. Dezman Moses - OLB - Can this guy make the jump we need him to make to help balance the edges from a pass rush perspective? I believe he has the talent to be a pass rusher.. can he do it in year 2.

1B. Nate Palmer - LB - The Packers made a curious pick.. I am looking forward to see him on the NFL field to see how he fits.

1A. Nick Perry - OLB - Are the injuries a freak thing.. or is it something of a pattern? If he can stay healthy.. can he be the bookend to Matthews? Can he truly make the leap to OLB and play the position at a high level. Questions.. Questions.. Questsions.

The flipping of the line.. AGAIN.
Jermichael Finley
Jarrett Boykins

I think if the oline and playcalling on offense balances out and the backs can carry the load they should be afforded.. our defense will improve instantly.. albeit, I think that is where most of the concern lies in terms of questions.

Atleast the flipping of the OL is happening during the offseason, not week 6.

1. N. Perry-will he be really good?
2. D. Jones-will he step up to give immediate help?
3. D. Sherrod-will he come back from his injury and become a player worthy of his pick?
4. B. Bulaga-will he be a good LT?
5. B.J. Raji-will he be an All Pro level with a better players around him?

There should be some very interesting and intense battles all across the defense and at running back. Looking forward to watching and reading about them.

1) Perry/Neal ~ Packers need more pass rush and I think they'll be used in some of the same ways.
(Mainly Neal to see how he's looking at DE and OLB and how they're using him at OLB)

2) OL ~ The OL switch up, and RT battle, back-up C battle and the LT draft pick. (and Sherrod if healthy)
(Mainly watching to see if Barclay pushes anyone for a starting spot, and maybe some of Van Roten at Center)

3) McMillian ~ Just have the feeling the kid could break out huge for the Packers.

4) TE ~ TEs play could effect a lot not only this year but future years with both Finley and Quarless in contract years
(Mainly Quarless see how he's improving)

5) WR ~ Every year people watch the WRs, and this year will be no different. See how the top guys are doing and the possible very interesting back-up WR battles.
(Mainly the back-ups see the ranking, though I'm expecting if healthy Boykins and Ross to surprise people with a jump from their first year to their second, but also watching the rookies talent).

Mucky Tundra (5h) : *to be able
Mucky Tundra (5h) : and because it's not a dynasty league (which makes a lot more sense to be ability to trade picks)
Mucky Tundra (5h) : Oh I know; I was just exploring and it blew my mind that you could trade picks because of the whole reordering thing
Mucky Tundra (5h) : Zero, I think I preferred my offer: your 1st for my 15th rounder
Zero2Cool (6h) : Keep in mind, we do a draft reorder once all members locked in
Zero2Cool (6h) : You can have my 12th Rd for your 2nd round

Martha Careful (2-Aug) : Congratulations Sterling Sharpe. He was terrific and I loved watching him play.
beast (2-Aug) : I believe it's technically against the CBA rules, but Jerry just calls it a simple unofficial chat... and somehow gets away with it.
beast (2-Aug) : Jerry Jones is infamous for ̶n̶e̶g̶o̶t̶i̶a̶t̶i̶n̶g̶ chatting with players one on one... and going around the agent.
Mucky Tundra (1-Aug) : Oo just saw a blurb saying that Dallas negotiated directly with Parsons and not through his agent
Mucky Tundra (1-Aug) : I assumed that both guys will get paid, just a matter of when or how we get there
Zero2Cool (1-Aug) : McLaurin nor Micah going anywhere. They will get money
Mucky Tundra (1-Aug) : the Synder years or do they take care of one of their own?
Mucky Tundra (1-Aug) : Do the Commanders risk losing a top WR with an emerging QB just because he's turning 30 and potentially risk damaging the rebuild from
Mucky Tundra (1-Aug) : Turns 30 this September, plays at a high level and Washington has some cap space I believe
Mucky Tundra (1-Aug) : More interesting is Washington with Terry McLaurin
Mucky Tundra (1-Aug) : I would imagine Dallas will resolve this issue with a truckload of money
Zero2Cool (1-Aug) : Micah pulling a Myles with trade request

Zero2Cool (30-Jul) : if PH dies, there is packerpeople com available
Zero2Cool (30-Jul) : database is on new host, eventually website will follow
Mucky Tundra (30-Jul) : Zero, regarding Ewers, you are correct.
Zero2Cool (30-Jul) : Sadly, this might be our life for awhile. I could put it on another host, but seems it was slower, although more stable
beast (30-Jul) : How long will it be down?
beast (30-Jul) : RIP site 😭
Zero2Cool (30-Jul) : Site will die, I have to restart it.
Zero2Cool (30-Jul) : Quinn stinks. Lot of underthrows. (my guess)
beast (30-Jul) : How did Quinn Ewers effect where Golden was drafted?
dfosterf (30-Jul) : All I've experienced was late at night or early morning. I just figured you were doing something in the background
Zero2Cool (30-Jul) : Site sure seems to be down more than up
dfosterf (29-Jul) : 50 cent hookers? I'm moving to Green Bay. I thought it was just real estate that was more affordable there. 😂
Zero2Cool (29-Jul) : Sure seems site going down more than 50¢ hooker
Mucky Tundra (27-Jul) : Golden with two TDs in red zone drills today
