No it doesn't. Lang has been great this season.

Barclay is the weak link on our O-line this year. He has done an admirable job, but is definitely not our future at RT. At best he will make a fine utility lineman.

I'm looking forward to training camp next season because I think both tackle positions should be up for grabs as well as center. Only Lang and Sitton should be penciled in as starts. I really think Bahktiari should start, but I'm not convinced it should be at Left Tackle when we have 2 injured players with higher pedigree coming back. Peppers did have a big game against David after all.

According to PFF

Tackle ratings out of 39 that have played 75% snaps
Don Barclay 29th
David Bakhtiari 35th

Guard ratings out of 41 that have played 75% snaps
Josh Sitton 3rd (Daryn Colledge isn't far behind in the ratings...hmm no surprise here!)
T.J. Lang 14th

Center ratings out of 24 that have played 75% snaps
Evan Dietrich-Smith 11th

Barclay hasn't been very good lately at all and the reason his "score" is higher than Bakhtiari is run blocking. They have equal scores in pass blocking and Bakhtiari has faced much tougher match ups so his pass blocking over all has actually been much better. The hit that injured Rodgers however has nothing to do with Barclay's blocking putting that on him is lame.

Barclay's job wasn't to drive the defender backwards it was to keep him from collapsing the pocket.

I don't know about the majority of fans, but I definitely put the Rodgers injury on his shoulders alone. But it happened and we need to get past it now and rally behind Wallace and our team

They are better at coaching and better at being the GM(in their minds), than what the Packers currently have.

They know everything there is about football, and are never going to admit they are wrong.

Barclay's only option at the time, after he finished his assignment was to grab ahold of the defender and hold.

Barclay had done his job forcing the man back beyond Aaron, his back was turned to Aaron when he broke the pocket and started to scramble, the defender who was facing Aaron saw this and did his job by changing directions and pursuing. Barclay's momentum had him going the other way, his only option would have been to grab the guy and hold, but considering the fact that Aaron has been real successful in scrambling he let the guy go.

Bad break, when he made the tackle, but of course some will blame Barclay for this play 5 years from now, only remembering this one play and use it as a standard when talking about Barclay.

I'm sure if Barclay could have known in advance the results of the play, that he would have held his man and taken the 10yd penalty. But unlike some on here he doesn't know what is going to happen until it actually plays out.
