OL Coach decides to resign

Green Bay Packers assistant offensive line coach Joel Hilgenberg has made the decision to resign. The announcement was made Friday by Head Coach Mike McCarthy.

“It has been a great experience for me to be with the Green Bay Packers these past few years, and I am thankful for the opportunity I was given,” Hilgenberg said. “I feel that it is more important now that I have more time to spend with my wife, Jeanie, and our daughter, Anna. I will miss all of the great people in the Packers organization that I have come to know, and I wish everyone the very best in the future.”

So, that's two position coaches quitting in one offseason. Hilgenberg and Greene.

Is something going on about which we are unaware?

Seeing the thread title and then opening the thread was an emotional roller coaster in and of itself that ended in a crushing low. Thanks for getting my hopes up only to dash them so swiftly and cruely.
