Hey p2w... Read this story on Bama's QB and his draft fall and you just might start believing Hubbard has character issues:

http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap2000000350354/article/bengals-aj-mccarron-says-predraft-reports-hurt

Reports surfaced Saturday that teams were left with questions about McCarron's personality during his one-on-one visits. His decision to blow off the Senior Bowl didn't sit well, and some club executives were left to ask if the Crimson Tide quarterback was liked by his teammates and would thrive under pressure at the NFL level.

---More stuff at link. AJ knows his perceived personality cost him big time. At least he didn't try blaming his fall on a medical paper. :)

Let's just let the chips fall and see what happens. I think we will be pleasantly surprised by the Adrian Hubbard signing.

Given the high bust rate of Bama players they really have no reason to be all that high on themselves. I'm actually encouraged by the fact Hubbard didn't reach his potential at Alabama. I think Peppers will be a HUGE motivating factor for that young man. If you idolized a player and you got to go learn from him, that's going to motivate you like crazy.

Somehow, it looks as though Ha Ha didn't fall into the same trap AJ and Hubbard may have, and Lacy before them.

Alright so if he's a dick we dump him. He's an UDFA. No big deal. If he's awesome, then cool beans.

Our boy Adrian is proclaiming himself ROOKIE OF THE YEAR on his twitter page. Nope, that's completely "normal"... I can't figure out why Nawrocki would say he has an overblown opinion of himself? :)

That's a hell of a lot better to hear than something like "I didn't get drafted so I probably suck and won't have much of an NFL career" A player being confident about his future seems normal enough to me anyways.

I like him more now.

While bagging on this kid.. you do realize that he graduates this spring.. now, you have your degree... have won a national championship while at school and have an opportunity to go to the NFL.

So how is it so "turrible" that this kid left to pursue his dream? He sat down and discussed it with Saban and made a decision.

By the way.. using Nolan Nawrocki as a source thinking he has inside knowledge.. might want to read this .

Personally.. I will wait to see how he fares in TC later this summer to form a firm opinion of how he fits in.. if he fits in. Because of your passion to thump the kid into the ground.. I have read more than I typically would on an undrafted kid. Haven't read a damn thing that concerns me.. overtly confident Bama kid.. not that different from the norm.

Did Hubbard not get drafted because Nawrocki bagged on him? Nope? What Nawrocki wrote didn't affect either Hubbard's or McCarron's trajectory in the draft. I'm not sure that you can't conclude that NFL teams came away with the same impressions as Nawrocki on Hubbard, and they formed their own on McCarron, too. I laugh at the idea it's about a medical paper not getting to teams. Do you seriously buy that at all? That is one of things I'm having a little fun with. If you really believe that then state it. Tell me you think I'm way off and Hubbard is the one who is right, here. His reasoning for why he didn't get drafted is the correct one.

This all started by me expressing concern Hubbard might be a space cadet. I'm concerned about it, but I saw him post a pic of him studying his playbook on instagram. If the stuff was or wasn't true, it appears to have motivaed him in some form or fashion and that's a great thing. I hope he stays on track and this bravado on Twitter of making the other 31 teams pay comes true. Why would I want him or any Packer to fail? I don't.
