It is difficult to throw a td pass when there are so many dbs standing in the end zone. I would have liked to see Aaron throw to someone around the 5 yard line and let them try and get in from there. it would have worked better when they were out around the 15-20 and not so well when they were down to the 10.

You may be right about throwing it short of the end zone and seeing what the receivers can do. Put 3 guys into the endzone and drop Lacy or Starks out of the backfield and dump it off. Let the defense have to make a tackle instead of having to knock the ball away.

Either way I'm not too worried about it. I've seen them go into a red zone funk on occasion before. It happens to all teams now and then. I just don't think a team with this offensive talent will let the problem linger.

I am commenting on it because Mike is putting an emphasis on the issue. Certainly every one realizes that NE has a good defense especially in the red zone. (or at least they should.)

If they would have converted one or two times no one even Mike would be talking about it. The one time Aaron did throw a little short was the time Adams dropped it.

I understand and I agree. I just think Mike is saying they are going to put an emphasis on it mostly because he would be expected to say they were going to put an emphasis on it. I wouldn't expect him to say "I'm not worried about it" though in reality he probably really isn't.
