I think it would be kind of a lame way to motivate a team going into the next season ("See who didn't want to come coach you!"), but I suppose it could work . . . if the team were desperate for motivation.

I'm hoping for McDermott, but it's sounding like he'd rather go to MN if they lose Leslie Frazer. Suck. I'm betting we'll end up with Winston Moss in the end... I feel the onset of another offseason of pining and unfulfilled dreams coming....

I read it somewhere, probably pft, maybe it was one of the threads here... It was just some rumor saying that Childress would like to see Frazier get a HC job so he could bring in McDermott to replace him.

If he doesn't take over the DC in Tennessee.. one of the reasons Williams might not have waited to see about Tennessee... but if they don't go this direction.. would be a quality guy to talk to... Reindfelt (Sp?) might be willing to let us talk to him.. Dave McGinnis.

Brought up in the Chicago systems as a linebacker coach leading Mike Singletary, Wilber Marshall and Otis Wilson. Built a pretty good defense out in Arizona with Swann, Rice and Williams..

Another name out there with a ton of experience and success.
