He should get a "shot at a bigger role", he's the only inside linebacker on the team unless you count Clay.

Ted drafted Barrington to replace Hawk.
Injuries slowed his progress his 1st 2 years but after getting healthy and his shot last year, he showed he could hold his own.

Clay will not be inside all the time, The Packers are going to need someone to take over the play calling on D.

I think Sam can be the man!
