I know the question was directed at nerd, but I would certainly entertain Manziel or Tebow over Hundley as I think we should be able to play to their strengths without the fans getting in the way of ever questioning who the starter is. Both talents I believe will be wasted in the NFL because they ended up with the wrong teams. I think many of the short 3rd downs we seem to wiff on would be converted with a Manziel or Tebow substitution. To me they are more valuable than a clipboard back-up as they would have the potential to be weekly positive contributors to the team.

Not to say that we couldn't do the same thing with Hundley, but Tebow and Manziel from my viewing were just better at converting in those situations.
