Does anyone realistically believe that Jordy isn't done for the year? Curious who thinks it's really possible.

I agree with what some have already stated. I'm glad it happened now. They now have a few more "fake" games to figure out what to do. Had this happened in the first game of the regular season, you have no time to prepare.
I think Nelson is done for the year, but I hope I'm wrong.
Time for the youngin's to step up.

Would Ted Thompson trade for someone? These chances at the SB are getting fewer and fewer.

Yes, seriously. Larry Centers, yes, Larry Centers a RB caught 100 balls in a season a long time ago...was he a #1 WR? No, he was a RB.

Jordy is a very nice player...he's not dominant...never has been. Feasts at Lambeau for some reason and wasn't quite so good on the road. Jordy ain't any of the other guys you mentioned. Jordy is more of a 1a WR...not THE GUY but close. Same with Cobb.

If you actually break it down even further and examine PFF's "WR Rating" category (basically grading a WR using the QB 'Passer Rating' system), Jordy was #4 with a '130' WR rating. Additionally, on throws to Jordy, Rodgers passer rating was 128 (by comparison, the league average was around 90 and on passes to Davante Adams, for example, Rodgers' QB rating was 92). Even more, on passes to Jordy, Rodgers was only intercepted 1 time.

Heck, if you go back even further for the past few years, Jordy is actually amongst the best in an elite group. If we judge based on PFF's 'yards per route run' metric, Jordy at 2.4 yards per route run is only behind Andre Johnson (2.59) and Wes Welker (2.44). Jordy is comfortably ahead of players like Brandon Marshall (2.25), Roddy White (2.13) and Calvin Johnson (2.12).

In short, a lot of data pretty much suggests Jordy produced at an exceptionally high level -- in most cases better than elite WRs in their prime.

Does Aaron have a lot to do with Jordy's success? Sure, I will not deny that #12 plays a big role. But on a team with Aaron, Jordy was an amazing producer -- he produced like you would want a #1 WR to produce. He may not be the flashy name, but his production stands tall with other elite WRs in the league.

Which goes to my original point: this is a pretty big loss. To say that a 2nd year WR in Davante Adams can achieve the same level of success as Jordy is asking a lot. I'm holding out hope that someone indicated to MM that Jordy's tear is only partial, and he has a shot to come back around mid-season.

Given #36 Gunter's play lately and Rollins play last week, with Hyde as a Nickle back also, maybe we dangle Casey Hayward?

Hayward has been injured, so he may not have tremendous value. That said, his injury history would make me cautious trusting him as the starting CB, especially when he is in the last year of his deal and we have a few rookies that have shown promise.

Truth be told, I'd be perfectly fine with a 'Hayward-for-Greg Jennings' trade (not sure if the Dolphins do it, though). I'd prefer someone who has familiarity with this system, and I still think Jennings has something left that he could be a viable short-term option.

Crabtree has never played with a real QB in his career. He has incredible hands. Guy like that reminds me a little of Pickett when we got him... a 1st rounder who never lived up to promise until he got to Green Bay. Crabby could be a really nice addition and might be able to produce really well for us.

Hayward for Crabtree sounds pretty fair to me.

Mucky Tundra (14h) : and because it's not a dynasty league (which makes a lot more sense to be ability to trade picks)
Mucky Tundra (14h) : Oh I know; I was just exploring and it blew my mind that you could trade picks because of the whole reordering thing
Mucky Tundra (14h) : Zero, I think I preferred my offer: your 1st for my 15th rounder
Zero2Cool (15h) : Keep in mind, we do a draft reorder once all members locked in

Mucky Tundra (1-Aug) : Turns 30 this September, plays at a high level and Washington has some cap space I believe
Mucky Tundra (1-Aug) : More interesting is Washington with Terry McLaurin

Mucky Tundra (30-Jul) : Zero, regarding Ewers, you are correct.
Zero2Cool (30-Jul) : Sadly, this might be our life for awhile. I could put it on another host, but seems it was slower, although more stable
beast (30-Jul) : How long will it be down?
beast (30-Jul) : RIP site 😭
Zero2Cool (30-Jul) : Site will die, I have to restart it.
Zero2Cool (30-Jul) : Quinn stinks. Lot of underthrows. (my guess)
beast (30-Jul) : How did Quinn Ewers effect where Golden was drafted?
dfosterf (30-Jul) : All I've experienced was late at night or early morning. I just figured you were doing something in the background
Zero2Cool (30-Jul) : Site sure seems to be down more than up
dfosterf (29-Jul) : 50 cent hookers? I'm moving to Green Bay. I thought it was just real estate that was more affordable there. 😂
Zero2Cool (29-Jul) : Sure seems site going down more than 50¢ hooker
