There's no doubt that the Packers will miss Jordy Nelson this season. However adding Reggie Wayne to the pity party is just over the top. Whats next tears because Brian Urlacker won't come out of retirement ?

I'm surprised at your opening paragraph. I was commenting on MR's comments to AJFLYNN. I rarely comment over there but I wanted to ask him if he was one of these typical Packers forum types that uses his own personal bias as a means of restricting the thoughts of others. He never struck me that way but I know him to be a much bigger fan of Ted Thompson and MM than I am. Hated to think he would squelch AJ but not someone doing same thing but effusively praising the combo.

Yes, I get the concept with the QB... Randall Cobb was said to benefit as a WR because he was a QB. Same with Anquan Boldin. However, AVP has NEVER coached WR's in his life other than maybe in a huddle. So, we have a rookie WR coach coaching some very young guys...plus, a 1st year Packer OC. ( I know Clements has done it previously ) We have a high amount of inexperience almost across the board from coaching staff right out onto the field. That's not usually a good recipe for success. It will be a challenge.

I would truly like to know why it would be a "tough pill to swallow"" when The Packers had almost no interest in Reggie and since he was already in negotiations with NE when Jordys diagnosis was final, The Packers had no shot at landing him even if they were interested
Jordy getting hurt only helped Reggie get signed quicker in NE.
