That's right, we witnessed below average QB play last night.

Now let's use this grade to force a renegotiation. If that doesn't work we can cut AR and get Clausen from Bears for a 6th!!!

PFF...who ya crappin'?" and Com'mon man!

The problem of trying to put a grade is you can't put a +/- on ball velocity or a absurdly quick release but those are things Rodgers did last night that make the throws look easier than they are and give the WR more of a chance to pick up YAC. I guess pinpoint accuracy from a QB is just routine and not worthy of "bonus points" as well.

So the defense committing a penalty becomes a negative play for a QB? If making the best read under the circumstances resulting in TDs is expected than NO QB should have positive because throwing a completion is the expected outcome.

PFF was right about the 3 TD's to Cobb. Didn't exactly require a pin point throw to a small window downfield. It was about like handing the ball to Lacy. AR doesn't get credit for doing that, so...

PFF is a great source of information. But like test scores in school, they are not a perfect measure. Just 1 source. Criticizing PFF for imperfection is like whining about the Packers D in the 4th qtr.

If that is a Sub-Par Performance I will take it every week of the Season. 5 tds..0 int. and total command of the offensive side of the game deserves a better grade than that.
Great game on Monday Night Football Packers...the game wasn't ever in question.

The ESPN folks showed a stat that Aaron Rodgers didn't complete a pass over 5 or 10 yards through I think three quarters or something. I read the article, it is not that hard to understand the negative grade. It's not the end of the world. I am finding it humorous how some are all "look ProFootballFocus is the dumb!" over this. If you for a second thing there is anything that is concrete in determining player worth, you're kind of naive. Because, if there was, then we wouldn't see draft picks being cut from teams ... ever.

PFF is good information. You can ignore it, you can take parts of it or you can go crazy and believe every single grade.

As we saw on the play Montgomery was flagged for blocking early. It only takes a fraction of a second to turn a TD into not a TD. If the ball is thrown high, low, or not in the right spot none of those throws end up as TDs. And making that throw, that quickly is just as difficult as a throw 20 yards into the endzone. Probably harder because those long throws QBs have more time to make them.

I don't like that they apparently give him a big negative for the fumble because even though the play didn't count "you can't ignore that it happened" while completely being able to ignore that the penalty (against the player he was looking to throw to) also happened.

Mucky Tundra (4-Aug) : *to be able
Mucky Tundra (4-Aug) : and because it's not a dynasty league (which makes a lot more sense to be ability to trade picks)
Mucky Tundra (4-Aug) : Oh I know; I was just exploring and it blew my mind that you could trade picks because of the whole reordering thing
Mucky Tundra (4-Aug) : Zero, I think I preferred my offer: your 1st for my 15th rounder

Zero2Cool (1-Aug) : McLaurin nor Micah going anywhere. They will get money

Mucky Tundra (1-Aug) : Do the Commanders risk losing a top WR with an emerging QB just because he's turning 30 and potentially risk damaging the rebuild from
Mucky Tundra (1-Aug) : Turns 30 this September, plays at a high level and Washington has some cap space I believe
Mucky Tundra (1-Aug) : More interesting is Washington with Terry McLaurin
Mucky Tundra (1-Aug) : I would imagine Dallas will resolve this issue with a truckload of money
Zero2Cool (1-Aug) : Micah pulling a Myles with trade request
