That quote is from "Stanford Steve" on ESPN, but it's what I've been saying since it happened - the latest bad call that gave Seattle a win.

The Back Judge standing right there and looking at the play covered his ass - saying he thought the guy inadvertently batted the ball. That makes it a judgment call, and people can say all they want about how the judgment stinks, but nothing can be done. My take on it, though, is that the refs did not know the rule. Of course, nobody is gonna admit that, but I bet that's the truth.

I think we can all agree that it would just be swell if the Seahawks could kindly shut the hell up about the refs from this point forward.

Spread or no spread, I think it was really important to some big money people that Seattle win that game.
If Seattle went 1-3, they were probably toast as far as the playoffs and I don't think big money would have liked that possibility.
BTW I don't know the ins and outs of gambling. It's just one of those conspiracy theories that came to mind.
Probably nothing to it since we all know that the multi billion dollar gambling industry is snow white.

We need to have head mounted body cams on all officials so we can see what they are seeing.

I have mixed feelings about this...

K.J. Wright clearly didn't know the rule. Why didn't he just fall on it? Afraid it would be a safety?

The only reason for a penalty on the play would be the batting out of bounds, it looked as if it might have gone out anyway. It didn't look like any Lions players had a shot at recovering the fumble. It looked like Wright could have easily recovered it.

Therefore, a penalty negating the turnover would have seemed like a ticky-tack ending to a great play by Megatron and even greater play by Chancellor to force the fumble.

However, a ticky-tack seemingly BS unchallengeable call costing Seattle the game would have been enjoyable. 😁

Zero2Cool (6h) : I'm not sure how to kill the draft order just yet so it's not so confusing.
Mucky Tundra (16h) : *to be able
Mucky Tundra (16h) : and because it's not a dynasty league (which makes a lot more sense to be ability to trade picks)
Mucky Tundra (16h) : Oh I know; I was just exploring and it blew my mind that you could trade picks because of the whole reordering thing
Mucky Tundra (16h) : Zero, I think I preferred my offer: your 1st for my 15th rounder
Zero2Cool (17h) : Keep in mind, we do a draft reorder once all members locked in

Mucky Tundra (1-Aug) : Oo just saw a blurb saying that Dallas negotiated directly with Parsons and not through his agent
Mucky Tundra (1-Aug) : I assumed that both guys will get paid, just a matter of when or how we get there
Zero2Cool (1-Aug) : McLaurin nor Micah going anywhere. They will get money
Mucky Tundra (1-Aug) : the Synder years or do they take care of one of their own?

Mucky Tundra (30-Jul) : Zero, regarding Ewers, you are correct.

Zero2Cool (30-Jul) : Site sure seems to be down more than up
dfosterf (29-Jul) : 50 cent hookers? I'm moving to Green Bay. I thought it was just real estate that was more affordable there. 😂
Zero2Cool (29-Jul) : Sure seems site going down more than 50Âą hooker
