Mcnabb deserves to play for better fans. People have stated the obvious with the championship games and how he has really never had a great wr besides the one year he had Team Obliviator. But do you guys and gals also remember they booed him when he got drafted so he has be getting the fan abuse from day 1.
Just Imagine this for the next 6-9 years. What a ride it will be 🙂 (PS, Zero should charge for this)

Forget McNabb even playing with actual receivers... Imagine McNabb with a running game. Philly has no every down back and McNabb seemingly throws the whole game. If McNabb gets Taylor and Peterson... we are screwed haha!
Circular Arguments: They are a heck of an annoyance

I think McNabb is a decent QB, but I think he's a tad over rated in some capacity. I have no idea which way this will go, but does anyone know how many fourth quarter comebacks he's successfully led vs how many total attempted?

David - Yup. I heard about that.

Darkane - Exactly my point. Bad OL, no solid WRs, and he has Westbrook who is perhaps the best receiving back, but not a solid RB back (if that makes any sense). Put the guy on Minnesota and we're going to have some serious problems winning the NFC North.

Zero - Ok, 'twas stupid. But still, one stupid thing he said does not mean the guy's overrated. His stats have been consistently good despite not having an OL, not having quality WRs, not having a running game. If anything, he's underrated. Geez, put him on a team like the Colts, Patriots, or even now the Vikings. We'd be in trouble.

I hope the Eagles DO lose him, and they get a QB that really SUCKS!
That would teach them!

Even if that meant McNabb is wearing purple next year? lol

Honestly, I don't see this happening. Didn't Philly just state that Reid and McNabb are staying? Unless McNabb pulled a Favre or T.O... I don't see him playing for anyone but the Iggles.

Don't get me wrong, I'll take him as a Viking all day long. Good God, I can't even FATHOM the type of success they may have with a veteran savvy QB. That's NOT a statue. And is accurate. No more jump-passes. No more broken hips.

Ok, I'm all jazzed for this offseason. When's kickoff to next season?

This would be bad. This would be very bad. I get a daily dose of this "question", as one of the channels I get is dedicated to local sports. This means I get to listen to the likes of Sal Pal.

The consensus seems to be that Donovan is going to sit down with ownership and demand a renegotiation of his contract. He has (I think) two years left on his existing deal. He was angered by the signing of Kolb, and his benching is what has made him decide to start making some demands. McNabb has always been a "company man", but that is apparently going to change. It appears to me that the media and ownership (the owner also appears on the show regularly) are coming to the realization that they cannot afford to lose McNabb. In my opinion, the Green Bay Packers are extremely lucky that Kolb sucked when McNabb was benched.

What is NOW being closely examined in Philadelphia is the lack of supporting cast wide-receiver-wise, and the thought that the Eagles must give McNabb better weapons. The running theme is that the Eagles wide receivers are vastly overpaid and under-performing.

Bottom line looks like McNabb will get a new contract if/when he asks for it.
The talking heads seem to think he isn't going to ask, he is going to demand one, even though he technically has no leverage. His leverage seems to be that the Eagles have PR problems with the fanbase, and McNabb has always been that "Company Man".

McNabb on the Vikings would murder us, imo.

I think McNabb is a very good q.b but he doesn't do well under pressure, when it counts like in the playoffs, you have to wonder if T.O. was right it made him sick in the s.b. and that is why they lost,he was making bad decisions, like he did this year,I'm not to worried I have faith our new d.c . can handle him if he came to the vikes .

Considering that Kolb isn't close to being ready to start yet, I don't see the Eagles willing to lose McNabb for an uncertain future.

Mucky Tundra (8-Aug) : beast, I thought the designate return from IR players had to be IR at cutdowns to 53, not before
beast (8-Aug) : It's a brand new rule, either last season or this season, prior, all pre-season IRs were done for the season
beast (8-Aug) : But the Packers would have to use one for their return from IR spots on him, when they cut down to 53.
beast (8-Aug) : I think the NFL recently changed the IR rules, so maybe the season might not be over for OL Glover.

Mucky Tundra (4-Aug) : Oh I know; I was just exploring and it blew my mind that you could trade picks because of the whole reordering thing

Mucky Tundra (1-Aug) : Oo just saw a blurb saying that Dallas negotiated directly with Parsons and not through his agent
Mucky Tundra (1-Aug) : I assumed that both guys will get paid, just a matter of when or how we get there
