Here's my guy Roger Lewis from Bowling Green. Pretty amazing he made two highlight reel catches in the same game to start this clip:

He still has to post his 40 time...if it's slow I'm off him but if he's mid-low 4.4, oh baby.

Originally, an The Ohio State University recruit...was charged with two counts of RAPE. My goodness. One didn't stick...the other plead out. Not good. An amazing talent but not sure a guy with that kind of stigma would ever make it to Green Bay under this regime.

Still, his talent is undeniable. Will be watching to see where he might go in the draft.

Of course, you and I will never know, but the rape allegations seem awfully flimsy to me:

Ted Thompson sits on his hands per former GM: "because they’ve had 25 fricking years of great quarterbacks. Of course it works. Try it without a special quarterback."

The Packers absolutely need a day 1 starter playing ILB. With their position in the draft and needs, BPA may just line up nicely for them for Reggie Ragland (my choice):

Has the strength and size to help the run defense. Has the speed to cover runningbacks and tight ends. Has the smarts to cover wide receivers in zone coverage.

If Ragland is available when they pick I would be very disappointed if they don't take him. Unless some blue chip LT, DL or WR slipped that far. Another player that might be worthwhile at our pick would be TE Hunter Henry.

News of Jaylon Smith's recovery have been positive. I am split on if I would like to see the Packers take a chance on a player. Versatile, quick and loves to hit (properly). He fits in with Dom's scheme because he can be used all over the field (huge +).
At this time, I really think taking him in the 1st is a reach since he will most likely be unavailable at the beginning but then I think about the risk the Rams took with Todd Gurley and how that played out and will play out for years to come.

I am hellbent on the Packers taking an ILB with their first selection. While I am not upset with the pick of Demarious Randall in the 1st round last year, I hate seeing how well Eric Kendricks is playing out for the Vikings (my #1 choice last year).

ILB is a must for the Packers in the 1st or 2nd round.

I am hoping the Packers go the FA route with the TE position. There could be some decent pickings from that group.

I agree with Ragland and Smith, but I think both will be gone (and if Smith isn't, I'm concerned about the risk with his recovery).

So assuming those two are off the board for one reason or another in the 1st round, I want to see either Hunter Henry/TE or Michael Thomas/WR:

In the second round, I'm praying for Kentrell Brothers/ILB:

From another thread I mentioned that I like Sterling Shepard as a WR. Might be a bid much to draft a WR in late second or early 3rd round. I like the tape that I saw of him and his write up by the draft gurus have been making me think he would be a great pick-up. I don't know if he plays ST and he is a slot receiver so it might be a bit of an odd selection.

Like what I read and saw on Noah Spence. He can get after the QB and is a strong dude. His drug history is a problem. Hopefully he has moved on, but that is always a scary prospect when drafting somebody as nobody wants a player who will be suspended because they can't not get stoned. He will be taken early so he is a doubtful selection.

Hunter Henry is getting a lot of talk at TE. A guy I like is Bryce Williams. He is smaller framed though tall and faster and may not be to prototypical TE. He can run and catch and open the middle and I like that and think we need that.

The problem with Ragland is that he is ranked 16th (on CBS) and almost certainly will be gone. If not, he's a great value pick at 27.

I like Henry but he's a reach in the first round. I see in one mock they have us taking Jarred Reed, the DL from Alabama. He's ranked 23rd or so, and would be a good pick at our spot.

Won't be the "sexY" pick, but if Raji and Guion both leave, DT becomes a very high priority.

The time of "misinformation" is about to begin.
😂

From now until the draft is over I won't believe anything coming out of Green Bay.

I would certainly like to keep the guys on a 2 year deal and draft a guy in the later rounds for competition and depth.
