do we really need another player other than Igor in FA now. Now that canty has been signed our only dire need i feel is the LE spot for the 3-4, i feel that its not even that much of a deal because jolly is not a perfect fit but he can play there while we adjust. the main use of the end is to set up double teams and he can use his size to do that. they arent so much pass rushers anymore.

I am just as high on Olshansky as I am on Canty. Olshanky is stronger and seems nastier. I think we could use that attitude on our d-line.

I say this every offseason, but I wouldn't mind bringing back Grady Jackson. He was fun to watch and always showed up big on the short yardage situations. Put him in there with Pickett and that like 700 pounds of weight to move!!!

As far as the offense goes, we probably should look to bring in some more guards and tackles.

Our offensive line has been the weakest part of our team since Ted Thompson took over. The actual best season was Colledge and Spitz first season. Maybe that was because Tauscher and Clifton were much better back then.

Anyways, we need help on the o-line or Rodgers will have to play another season with a separated shoulder or what even new injury are useless excuse for linemen subject him to.

I agree, I was looking at some FA defensive linemen, and I saw Grady on there. He could be great at our NT position either as a starter or being a rotational player with Pickett.

I thought he was on the decline when he left GB, but every game I've seen him in, he stands out (for more that just his weight). Could be like Pat Williams where being big is all you really need.

i wouldn't go that far i dnt really feel that our needs are that dire on defense. it seems really weird saying that after it was our defense that really f'd us this year, but most people do know but dont acknowledge the fact that our defense was HURT!!!!! almost all of them. look at the beginning of the year compared to the end. better in the beginning? Answer is yes! reason... they were alive then. we even played teams that were considerably better (and when i say considerably i mean a hell of a lot better) in the beginning of the year.

Matt Birk would be a good get in my opinion.

Khalif Barnes to play RT if Mark Tauscher isn't brought back is another player to look at.

Jermaine Phillips or Sean Jones could push Bigby and Rouse for the starting role opposite of Nick Collins.

Bertrand Berry versatility makes him intriguing.

That doesn't change the fact that a lot of the guys who are supposed to be starters right now played like sh*t without being hurt.
