According to ESPN Stats & Information, the Packers ruled out players 49 times this past season on their injury reports. That was the third most in the NFL behind the Steelers (61) and Colts (56). It was more than the Packers had the two previous seasons combined (17 in 2015 and 20 in 2014).

“It was an issue this year, no doubt about it,” McCarthy said last week in his season wrap-up news conference.

Uh yeah, so I guess it wasn't normal. 🤣

Montgomery last year and Lacy this year, both played injured and ended up being out for the season as a result. 🤬 Players aren't gonna wanna come here if there's a reputation for getting guys hurt.

Remember about 10 years ago when the Browns players kept getting antibiotic resistant MRSA in their post surgical joint injuries? As a player, would YOU want to be in that locker room? This isn't much different.

If my memory is correct, the Chargers were banged up worse than the Packers this season. And their front office is in worse shape than ours. I know some of you will find that hard to believe. 😉

Not a very good article about it. Is a player being ruled out a bad thing if he is not healthy enough to play or would we prefer they play and make their injury worse and lose more time? The article doesn't to anything to try and determine what the case is. under the current system they had two good years and one bad, are we to assume that the one bad is the norm rather than the two good years?

I'm certain they always look at the injuries.

Having MM look into this isn't very reassuring. Sounds like injuries and the D will be his main focuses. Betting neither are much better come 2017.

At least he's acknowledging this is an issue but ironically it just so happens to make him look better. Wish he would acknowledge the coming up short as coming up short, too.

Ted Thompson sits on his hands per former GM: "because they’ve had 25 fricking years of great quarterbacks. Of course it works. Try it without a special quarterback."

I think a lot of the injuries players are experiencing is because they need to work on their pad level. Bad angles and such.

Work harder during the week and in the off season and you will be healthier on the field. New CBA causing more injuries which is the opposite of what they intended. Lets fix that instead of messing with kickoffs

Mucky Tundra (4-Aug) : and because it's not a dynasty league (which makes a lot more sense to be ability to trade picks)
Mucky Tundra (4-Aug) : Oh I know; I was just exploring and it blew my mind that you could trade picks because of the whole reordering thing
Mucky Tundra (4-Aug) : Zero, I think I preferred my offer: your 1st for my 15th rounder
Zero2Cool (4-Aug) : Keep in mind, we do a draft reorder once all members locked in

Mucky Tundra (1-Aug) : Oo just saw a blurb saying that Dallas negotiated directly with Parsons and not through his agent
Mucky Tundra (1-Aug) : I assumed that both guys will get paid, just a matter of when or how we get there
Zero2Cool (1-Aug) : McLaurin nor Micah going anywhere. They will get money
Mucky Tundra (1-Aug) : the Synder years or do they take care of one of their own?
Mucky Tundra (1-Aug) : Do the Commanders risk losing a top WR with an emerging QB just because he's turning 30 and potentially risk damaging the rebuild from
Mucky Tundra (1-Aug) : Turns 30 this September, plays at a high level and Washington has some cap space I believe
Mucky Tundra (1-Aug) : More interesting is Washington with Terry McLaurin
