Looks like Ted Thompson and staff was not impressed with M. Jenkins performance at the combine(very dissapointing showing), thus this signing.

He keeps his mouth shut and plays to his potentioal it wil be added depth to the secondary.

Looks like Ted Thompson is leaning toward D-lineman or is looking to trade down in the draft.(Just MHO).

I still say give AR one more weapon and draft Knowshon Moreno!!!!

I think a RB could be a good pick too once in a while, but Jackson was really showing some stuff when they gave him the ball last year (he didn't get NEARLY enough touches) and everyone seems high on Wynn.

I like the 1-2 punch with Grant and Moreno also, but if we have the chance to get a premier nose tackle (Raji), I say go for him.

We have more needs than the RB position. If we wanted a RB, I say go for it in the 2nd or 3rd round.

I give this pickup a 50/50 shot. If he WAS immature, and has LEARNED by his mistakes, and is as physically gifted as seems to be the consensus, he just might be an incredible value.

He sounds a lot like Collins a year or two ago, in my opinion. Has the physical tools but his understanding of the game isn't there yet. Remember Collins came into the NFL very young so he got a head start on learning everything (age-wise). It's hit or miss, really. They're betting that he will be coachable.

Interesting seeing George score a 10 and he had a 11 year career. Alex Smith scores a 40 and is benched after 1 year.

I really can't fairly answer you Dave. One thing does bug me about that wonderlic test. I had taken that "example" test a long time ago, and several took it when Vikerule threw it up.

I really, really really hope that the actual test is far more difficult than that example test. If it is not, well...I better shut up now. I cannot be alone with this thought...
