I always thought Lacy wasn't a good fit for our running game. He is best with a QB under C where he can get a head of steam. With the amount of time Rodgers is in the gun/pistol, basically running draw plays, and the stretch plays McCarthy likes so much he just didn't fit.

Just heard from Bill Michaels that Lacy weighed in at 267 for one of his team visits, which is about 30lbs more than he was last year.

There was no way for Green Bay to match this offer.

Sad thing is he is going to be another beast in Seattle.

He was part of some great plays but he never lived up to his potential. I do agree some of that was playcalling, but most of it was his attitude and dedication not being where it needed to be. I wish him well but the Seahawks can go to hell.

He finally decided to sign with a team after weighting his options.

I would of loved to have him back. His attitude and his work ethic just wasn't there.

Let's see how Pete Carroll will tame him.
