Ritchie Incognito is trying to make his name known again. Crying about having to play a game after only 4 days. Shut up and play or quit. I guarantee he won't be complaining it is so unfair that he will get a longer rest after the Thursday gam.

I sorta agree with him, I think a lot of people have talked about how athletics get into a weekly rhythm which includes their bodies adapting to what ever you throw their way, but almost cutting that rhythm in half (from 7 to 4 day week) can majority screw that rhythm up. Even the extra long week after that screws up the rhythm, even though their is more time to heal, it still throws the rhythm off which might be harder on the athletes, at least mentally if not also physically.

If the players got to vote, I honestly think a high percentage of the players would reject Thursday and International games because it effects their weekly pattern and rhythm of how they prepare or they have to change it up from a normal week.

I still think if they were truly interested in players safety, that would add an extra bye week before Thursday Night games. Which might also help them make more money as they would be extending the regular season by a week and therefore possible for more money from TV contracts as it covers another week.

Edit: Also it creates other unfair advantages, such as Bengals came off a Thursday game, while the Packers game off a Sunday Night game. Packers at minimum should of had a day game if they were playing someone with extra rest like that.

Then again that's also true this week with the Bears getting a bye week and the Packers playing a Monday Night game. So Bears get 14 days, to the Packers 6 days. And after that the Ravens will also be coming off their bye week.

Not denying that it is a change. What I say is so what deal with it. I don't want to hear them crying about such a "hardship". Jets and every other team end up having to play on short weeks also. I don't doubt if given a vote they would say no to them, if given a vote they would probably vote for no padded practices no preseason games.

I think having to deal with adversity like a short week is something the better players and teams handle better and is just another differentiator. Its something tougher the days before, but it is also something that gives them more time after.

I guarantee if they had won, you wouldn't hear one word from him about the short week. He is just crying.

I would like Thursday night games to go away. The quality has very rarely been worth the time.

Heck even a Tuesday Night Game (5 days rest) might be better than Thursday Night (4 days rest). Not that I'm recommending it.

I can agree with that, though I think some players have complained after winning the Thursday Night game too. Also I still believe the CBA is hurting the play on the field to a degree with less practice, especially the back-up QB play, as all the QB schools basically had to be outsourced to some degree to QB camps, where teams can only hope the QB is being trained the way they want and 3rd string QBs aren't developing like they used to.

Mucky Tundra (6h) : and because it's not a dynasty league (which makes a lot more sense to be ability to trade picks)

beast (30-Jul) : RIP site 😭
Zero2Cool (30-Jul) : Site will die, I have to restart it.
Zero2Cool (30-Jul) : Quinn stinks. Lot of underthrows. (my guess)

dfosterf (30-Jul) : All I've experienced was late at night or early morning. I just figured you were doing something in the background
Zero2Cool (30-Jul) : Site sure seems to be down more than up
dfosterf (29-Jul) : 50 cent hookers? I'm moving to Green Bay. I thought it was just real estate that was more affordable there. 😂
