I'm glad to hear this and will be more glad if he follows through. Screw the season. Get right and come back next season. We fans will still be here in 2018, the ones that count anyway!! 😂 😍

Yes, if he really got 13 screws, there's a small chance he may never be the same. The Packers aren't winning a Super Bowl this year regardless. Get fully healthy, and come back strong next season hopefully with a better team (and no Dom Capers).

Surprised nobody asked if he was worried he wouldn't be the same player. @ProFootballDoc said he would have no issues picking up right where he left off, so maybe it is actually a non-issue not worthy of a question? EDIT: Saw he addressed that issue.

Interesting to hear him talk about researching all kinds of things before deciding on how to go about his rehab. Reminded me of going through countless scenarios when I got diagnosed with cancer. You get one shot at it...his is a little different situation than mine, but I can relate to doing due diligence and then going with the plan.

Our media is so inept. I also can't believe nobody asked if where we were in the standings would carry any weight on his return? I know he said if he's not healed there's no conversation which is understandable, but what if the bone is healed and the Packers are 4-10? Is he playing the final 2 weeks? I threw out the worst case scenario, but it's a question that should've been asked. Hey, 12... What happens if you're out of playoff contention and you're healed? I'm guessing org would just shut him down taking it out of his hands, but you have to ask those kind of questions. Perhaps, they did ask and I'm just not aware?

Perhaps, Aaron will turn back to dairy because it is good for the bones, ya know?

Ted Thompson sits on his hands per former GM: "because they’ve had 25 fricking years of great quarterbacks. Of course it works. Try it without a special quarterback."

What did he say when asked if he will return to his previous form or no long term impacts? I haven't had a chance to review.

I just reread what I thought addressed that concern. 12 said neither he nor his doctors have any concerns about the long-term health of his shoulder.

The above doesn't exactly speak to actual performance just the health of his shoulder.

The only long term issues come about only if he bone is not aligned exactly as it was before the injury, then there's chance he wont be the same. I just cant see this happening; its not like he had surgery at a VA hospital.

If the surgery went well with no set backs; it's quite easy to envision Rodgers' practicing in 6 weeks and playing in 8. Probably the biggest concern is the bolts, sometimes they need to be removed because of discomfort. If the bolts cause pain Rodgers can handle it. If muscles, nerves or other soft tissues are sufficiently irritated this could physically or psychologically impede Rodgers' play this year.

Let him heal, then trade him in the off-season .
Tired of watching his great talent being wasted in Green Bay.

This season is over!
I was addicted to The Hokey Pokey, but I turned myself around!

I never felt that we would see Rodgers return for the 2017 Season . He has had a serious injury and rushing back from it , IMO , would have been a bad idea. It will be interesting to see just how GB fares without him . It should say a lot about the "Team" moving forward .

Mucky Tundra (30-Jul) : Zero, regarding Ewers, you are correct.

beast (30-Jul) : RIP site 😭
