Coach Lombardi stressed the fundamentals. In fact, the basic Packer Sweep was run so well that even when opponents knew it was the called play, they still failed to stop it. Less can be more if more time is devoted to less plays. Like building a house, first have a strong foundation. This can apply to both the offense as well as the defensive side of a football team.

Once the strong core basics are being executed without fail, slowly add plays to it and by December your team is playoff ready.

I support this approach and look forward to the 2018 Packer season. [thumbup]
