The house is very unassuming... but that isn't a shock as this is Conservy Ted we are talking about... Right now I am spending 65 to 70 percent of my time in Texas... hot right now, but no bugs and low humidity. But January was nice to be down here... for sure.

*** I have another .73 cents for the fund.. my right pocket. 😉

Kinda neat to see the home someone has chosen. The home also comes off modest which is what I would expect from Thompson.

Also according to this, on June 21, 2018, Mark Murphy's De Pere home is also for sale. (Just pictures)

And here is the same for Nelson's house

Some posters are very consistent. You don’t even have to read it to know what to expect.

River or lake property has sky rocketed in price in recent years. In fact, all housing has. An example is the home my parents built in 1960. A two story 4 bedroom home with a 2 and a half car garage. It cost them 20 grand. When my mom died in 1990, it sold for 70 grand. Now it’s valued at somewhere around 130 grand. And it’s not on the water.
Who can blame someone for trying to get the most value out of property they are trying to sell? (I know who.LOL!)
It’s the asking price. Doesn’t mean he will get it.
I would be interested at what other homes in his area are selling for. That would be more telling as to if he is out of line for asking that much.

Sorry if talking price is considered shit.

Edit: Wait, did you think I was complaining about your comment? Because I was NOT!. I agree with you and others than it looks modest... I was just trying to figure out why a modest house was listed at a non-modest price. I was attempting to add on, not attack your comments...

This just came to me, because there have been a couple of times when you have thought I was attacking your comments when I have not been, and you're comments make much more sense to me in that context, which is why I'm asking and trying to figure out what upset you.

Yet you had to stupidly throw shots in because you too sensitive and still butt hurt because I pointed out you were saying stupid shit.... like Ringo is the best NT the Packers have and Clark should be starting in the 5 tech. You don't understand interior linemen, a lot of people don't, so get the hell over it already!

There's an old saying about water front property "they're not making more of it". I have some family that live a little farther down the river and they've done alright with their property as well. I think exclusive properties or anything in demand by the wealthy is doing pretty well right now. Its partly why sports teams are getting insane valuations in the billions. The filthy rich only have so many places to put their money 😊

Besides being on the water teds place is not far from St Norbert college and a short walk/drive from downtown depere. Some good restaurants down there ran into Ted once at Pasquales on main st, bartender said he came in most Fridays. Was a nice guy didn't mind talking to whoever approached him.

I think his place will sell quickly.
