Looks like he made the team ... (considering this game and the last and the positive remarks from rodgers).

Almost sucks how these no name TEs or WRs are doing well. The 2 lower TEs on the depth chart did well also the Tyan or however its spelled did pretty well.

Not convinced he makes it. For one thing, he's got PS eligibility. Him and Yancey would make good stopgaps if Cobb or Geronimo goes down. Might even be upgrades. 🤣

Bukowski laid it out in his latest podcast. I think that's the one.

Locked On Packers

Why keep this guy? He got no time whatsoever with the #1s. Didn't sniff the field until it was time to go up against scrubs. He is 11th in pecking order.

Davante Adams
Jimmy Graham
Ty Montgomery
Randall Cobb
Geronimo Allison

That's 5 guys right there that are ahead of Kumero. Then you got the three rookies.

So now that's 8 guys. Then figure you've got Aaron Jones and Jamaal Williams catching the ball out of the backfield. So that's TEN guys in front of the Camaro, with SIX other WRs on the roster. Don't forget about Mercedes Lewis either. And let's face it, Yancey is probably gonna be brought up from PS before Camaro. Dude is auditioning for another team. Only way he makes it here is if there is a significant injury, or two.

He might stick a couple weeks during Aaron Jones' suspension, but with Williams hurt, they'll be more likely to keep Devante Mays or one of these scrub RBs they picked up recently.

You haven't seen him with the #1 team, so he's shit? That seems to be the logic... it's funny how Rodgers has talked about throwing to him but Rodgers wouldn't ever play on the #1 team and my goodness what does Rodgers know? (sarcasm)

Comparing a WR to a RB is classic Nerd logic.

Truly, I get a kick out of people getting so excited over PS game results. Especially when the play is against 3rd or 4th string players. I loved the td run. I was on my feet screaming.

Maybe he makes the team. Maybe not. We see it every year. Fans get excited about a longshot WR who not only doesn't make the Packers, the guy doesn't pan out with other teams either. I wish Kumerow all the luck in the world. If GB puts him on the PS, he will be signed elsewhere.

His making the team no doubt, his been the most impressive player in camp thus far.

You need players like Kumerow when you're facing those tough defensive DB's (Rams / Broncos / Jaguars etc...) that keep pressing your WR's.

He will exploit the middle of the field like no tomorrow. With his speed his a mismatch against opposing 3rd/4th db's which opens the field. Important thing is that he doesn't drop and is ready for those games once he needs to step up.

Boy I would love to see MM use him in a screen play next game to see what he can do. I don't know why but he reminds me of Edelman.

I can understand comparing Graham and Monty to the WRs some, but comparing Williams and Lewis to the WRs just doesn't work... at least not unless you're setting a limit or creating an entire roster and there was no limit nor linemen.

Also I think he played much earlier in this 2nd game instead of the first one. That's a good sign for him. As you said he might not make it, but clearly he's fighting and so far putting up a good fight as he started today with the league leading in preseason yardage (which means nothing other than he's trying hard, which means he's not nothing).

Kumerow IS a Patriots receiver. We just happen to have him. We'd be dumb to let him go.

No serious, fun fact... Packers signed Kumerow after the Patriots released him.
They released indirectly released him because they claimed some TE named Martellus

So basically the Pats got Martellus and Packers got Kumerow.

I feel like every year there is a practice squad player or two everyone falls in love with, and then they get cut. I think Kumerow is this year's version, he may make the team, but even if he does will he ever actually see the field?

I'm sold on the guy but Nerdman may be ahead of all of us on this. Kumerow has been cut and cleared waivers how many times now?

I never liked the "he played against scrubs" argument. He also played with scrubs. Poor offensive lineman blocking, poorer QBs. Why does nobody bring that up? I'd like to see him in a game situation with Aaron.

If he makes the team I do think we will see him. Our WRs is an interesting battle, but it is far from comfortable to me as a fan. Adams had his bell rung a couple of times so there is the concussion concern. Cobb seems to be injured quite often and our anointed #3 WR has 35 receptions and 2 TDs in the last 2 seasons. The rest are rookies, with the exception of Davis (likely cut), Yancey (probably PS guy) and then there is Kumerow.

If we gamble and think we can PS the guy I am thinking we will lose that bet.
