Anyone who was for getting rid of Al Harris was out of their minds. Seemed like everyone got in this trip that Al was a trouble maker on the field and couldn't keep his cool. Hes a hard player. He doesn't take anyone lightly and is a punch you in the mouth kind of guy. I LOVE having players like that on our Defense.

I think Rodgers is over paid for one season of action that was ok in the stats category except for the most important one, but i won't go there. I don't think that highly of him so i wont say he's over rated lol 😛

"dhazer" wrote:

So now he only did 'ok' in the stats column? You flip flop more than a fish out of water. He had a damn good season, stat wise. The team didn't do too damn hot at all in the W column. He gave his team a chance to win more times than not.

You know his stats compare with the top QB's in the game. Does that mean he deserved the contract? I can't say I think he does. I think the Packers jumped the gun, BUT, wouldn't that be hypocritical of us to whine about Ted paying someone a lot of money?

I think you're one of the many who bitches that Ted doesn't pay the bucks to players he should. A potential franchise QB is worth lots of money.

I can't wait until you start looking at things through your eyes instead of your asshole. You're gonna be so much more gooder and bester to read! 🙂

(this is towards MAsspackerfan and go.pack.go) why don't you guys stick to the topic? You just wait to find a way to defend your guy. I said he wasn't over rated in my mind because i didn't expect much from him and he played decent.
But then again i know you don't have me ignored lol. I'm also surprised how noone else has mentioned the FO or HC.

To be honest? Because I haven't been able to decide. It pains me to say AJ Hawk but I think you guys are right about it. Tramon Williams is an interesting choice too. I'd go out on a limb and say Pickett. He's going to be 30 this year. If he is the ONLY NT we have on the roster he's going to take a beating. I see him wearing down later on in the year unless we help him out or just don't use the 3-4 that much. He's not really talked about so that's why I toss him out there as "overrated".

In case a certain very well respected poster is influencing you...

Just because z bitches about AJ doesn't mean he sucks. (AJ, that is) Z is an emotional fella when it comes to linebackers... It's a kind of a guy/linebacker/"I played that"/football-sense- gay - approximation thing he has going on. (Not that there's anything wrong with that), + again, his "affiliation" is meant in the football-sense, (not the other one, although I know how "they" can get, I used to watch the Navy in action all the time-see vikes rule). :violent3:

Multiple nuances meant in absolute humor, hopefully "taken" that way. lol

A.J. Hawk was "picked" by ALL to be the 5th player in that draft, he was taken there, and he is JUST FINE. Did I watch that Bears game alone? + I still think he was playing hurt for much of last year.

Fine Zero i will say what i really believe about Rodgers *was trying to stay away from it) but to me he is the most over rated player on this team. Alot of posters on here have him as a great qb because of 1 year but yet others match his numbers but they did it because of the offense they run. Hell i have seen people saying he will be our qb for the next 10 years. Do you people realize he has only played 1 year right? Should have let him play out his contract and go from there but nope TT's son had to be paid after what 6 games? Ted Thompson is also over rated he had 1 winning season but yet everyone is saying he is doing the right thing.
Just Imagine this for the next 6-9 years. What a ride it will be 🙂 (PS, Zero should charge for this)

LOL... this particular player pisses me off more than any other that I can remember in years. It isn't that I think he sucks as a player, it is that looking back into his college years and even his rookie season the kid is capable of so much more as a player.

There were points and times during the season and after that I watched footage of his play and it pisses me off to no end.. how in the hell did he become so freaking tentative in his play.

Here was a kid at OSU that attacked, played with everything ahead of him and challenged play after play. OSU plays enough top competition that I thought his skills would translate well into the NFL game. And his rookie season it appeared that he would become a pro bowl type player annually.

This kid is why I hold such a pissed offed attitude toward Winston Moss's coaching abilities. Hawk has regressed each season in the pros, so either he is slacking on his end or the coaching principles are taking away his strengths..

Currently, I am in a hopeful state that the change in DC and staff, albeit Moss is still there, that Hawk will come to life and play up to his potential.

I rank him as overrated because of his potential and where he was picked in the draft. Again, he isn't a terrible player, but with his tentative "sit back and wait for the play to come to me" approach to the game lately, I hold him no more than a very "average" backer in the NFL.

And watching this kid play in college in person, for him to morph into a "average" player is a damn shame.

There is the reason I grind my axe with Hawk.. underachieving frustratingly maddening player to watch play the game.

As much as it pains me to say it leave DH alone for his choice...

He has his reasons even though I think his reasons are purely based on hatred, he still feels that Rodgers is over rated..

We wont change his mind so why not just move on...

I am going way out of the box by saying Crosby...Just look at his misses last year and you might understand...

with that said if those misses were MADE DH might not have Rodgers as his over rated player

I don't really think he is all that rated, but I'll go with Donald Lee. I have nothing against him and don't dislike him, I just miss having that nice TE outlet for the QB. Bubba in his prime and Mark Chmura have spoiled me.

I agree. Especially with the Winston Moss bit. Hawk should be Nitschke Jr. Hopefully Kevin Green can light a fire under him and teach him the ins and outs.
