MOCK DRAFT HYYYYYYYYYYYYPE!

Walter Football's Current 3 Round Mock  has GB going:

Josh Allen, DE/LB, Kentucky

The Packers are desperate for defensive help almost everywhere, so it makes sense for them to target a talented defender who can play almost anywhere.

Josh Allen has great size, speed and athleticism, and he also has the versatility to play multiple positions. He's compared to as a hybrid of Leonard Floyd and Zach Cunningham, as he can play in coverage and also rush the quarterback effectively on the edge.

Zach Allen, DE/DT, Boston College
Muhammad Wilkerson played well for the Packers in two-and-a-half games, but he's out for the season, and he signed just a 1-year contract anyway. A replacement will be needed if he leaves.

Zach Allen needs to develop more pass-rushing moves, but he has a nice combination of size and strength, and he happens to be a stout run defender and a quality pass-rusher.

Collin Johnson, WR, Texas
The Packers need defense, but they already spent their two first-rounds pick on that side of the ball. Aaron Rodgers also needs more reliable play-makers, as the offense hasn't been the same this year, thanks in part to Jordy Nelson's departure.

Collin Johnson has great upside and athleticism for someone with his frame (6-6, 212), but caught only 28 passes as a freshman. He's taken a big step this season.

Johnathan Abram, S, Mississippi State
The Packers traded Ha Ha Clinton-Dix away and have gotten much weaker at safety, so they'll need to find a replacement.

Johnathan Abram is a forceful, physical run defender who has good coverage skills.

A quick look at teams records and I believe 6th is the highest we could pick assuming GB loses and all the other teams win. Right now the teams currently drafting at 6-11 on that list have 5 wins a piece though I'm not sure how GBs tie figures into their position so I could be wrong.

Edit: After another quick look, it appears the tie automatically causes us to lose a spot to a team with a similar record.

For the purposes of calculating win percentage, the NFL counts a tie as half a win. So with a record of 5-8-1, the Packers are considered to have 5.5 wins and 8.5 losses for a win percentage of .393.

As Mucky mentioned, 6th is more likely, and I'd say (assuming the Packers lost the rest of their games then) 9th is most likely.

Of course, I don't think the Packers are gonna lose the rest of their games... and with one loss we're looking in the 12ish range (guessing). Then two wins 15ish range.

Working under the assumption the teams with a better record will win in week 17, it's looking like 12 or 15 depending on if the Packers win or lose to the Lions, of course that assumption is surely not a given to be completely true either.

If the Packers would have lost the Jets game, then the highest would have been 4th and lowest 14th. These close victories have been killing the Packers in the draft order the last two years... could have been in top 10 twice, missed it both times.

Good thing we got Rodgers back on track with lots of stats and a win. That is really going help us long term.

If we would’ve lost, people would’ve been calling for Rodgers’ head.

We win, and everybody is blaming Rodgers for wanting to be a stat-whore. Give me a break.

I want us to have a better draft pick, but once the game starts I can not cheer against us. One of the best quotes from Aaron sums up my feelings exactly. I hate losing more than I like winning. It doesn't matter, I hate to lose.

beast (2-Aug) : Jerry Jones is infamous for ̶n̶e̶g̶o̶t̶i̶a̶t̶i̶n̶g̶ chatting with players one on one... and going around the agent.
Mucky Tundra (1-Aug) : Oo just saw a blurb saying that Dallas negotiated directly with Parsons and not through his agent
Mucky Tundra (1-Aug) : I assumed that both guys will get paid, just a matter of when or how we get there
Zero2Cool (1-Aug) : McLaurin nor Micah going anywhere. They will get money
Mucky Tundra (1-Aug) : the Synder years or do they take care of one of their own?
Mucky Tundra (1-Aug) : Do the Commanders risk losing a top WR with an emerging QB just because he's turning 30 and potentially risk damaging the rebuild from
Mucky Tundra (1-Aug) : Turns 30 this September, plays at a high level and Washington has some cap space I believe
Mucky Tundra (1-Aug) : More interesting is Washington with Terry McLaurin
Mucky Tundra (1-Aug) : I would imagine Dallas will resolve this issue with a truckload of money
Zero2Cool (1-Aug) : Micah pulling a Myles with trade request

Zero2Cool (30-Jul) : if PH dies, there is packerpeople com available
Zero2Cool (30-Jul) : database is on new host, eventually website will follow
Mucky Tundra (30-Jul) : Zero, regarding Ewers, you are correct.
Zero2Cool (30-Jul) : Sadly, this might be our life for awhile. I could put it on another host, but seems it was slower, although more stable
beast (30-Jul) : How long will it be down?
beast (30-Jul) : RIP site 😭
Zero2Cool (30-Jul) : Site will die, I have to restart it.
Zero2Cool (30-Jul) : Quinn stinks. Lot of underthrows. (my guess)
beast (30-Jul) : How did Quinn Ewers effect where Golden was drafted?
dfosterf (30-Jul) : All I've experienced was late at night or early morning. I just figured you were doing something in the background
Zero2Cool (30-Jul) : Site sure seems to be down more than up
