He ignored your question because he has no idea. His comments are based on nothing aside from his belief that he has no evidence for. He just decided it one day and keeps bringing it up as if its fact.

The question still stands, what in game decision-making experience does he have?

Who wants continuity? Continuity means more of the status quo, which, as I hardly need to remind you, hasn't exactly been great in the past few years. This team needs to be torn down and rebuilt from the ground up. Continuity is the last thing it needs.

TL;DR: Edgar Bennett got fired for a reason.

The "status quo" was Mike McCarthy. The theory (with which I disagree) is that Mike is out of Aaron's way now. This opens up Aaron to win SuperBowl after SuperBowl without Mike holding him back.

Therefore, what this team wants is someone who can come in, take WHAT IS ALREADY HERE, and "let Aaron do his thing," which will result in repeated SuperBowls until Aaron can't do it anymore. Would you take Edgar Bennett over Philbin?

Also, other than the explicit hate of the status quo...looking at Philbin objectively:
Positives re tactics:
1. More draws
2. More screens
3. Excellent clock management
4. Seemingly motivated players
5. Better production from young wide-outs.
6. Early in games, more motion
7. More moving pulling linemen

Negatives
1. Not enough/2 guys in backfield
2. No more traps/wham blocking.
3. Abandoning motion (seemingly)

Results
1. Win Against Falcons
2. Loss at Bears (scoring 17 against a team that held the Rams to 3 points ((with a banged up O line))
3. Win at Jets.

OK Falcons and Jets. are not the Saints or Chiefs, but...we are clearly playing significantly better

If you had those guards, how much would you run?

The average adult in the US has one nut and one boob. so averages a can be deceiving.

What is the average on run plays on 3rd and less than 4. Or more important, what percentage of the time do we run on 3rd and less than 4 and make it.

I will bet a shiney new dime it is far less than league average.

Spreading formations out and gaining 7 yards on second and 10 is great, but we have been inept in the run game in critical/ goal line situations FOR YEARS!!!

And it starts up front

beast (2-Aug) : Jerry Jones is infamous for ̶n̶e̶g̶o̶t̶i̶a̶t̶i̶n̶g̶ chatting with players one on one... and going around the agent.
Mucky Tundra (1-Aug) : Oo just saw a blurb saying that Dallas negotiated directly with Parsons and not through his agent
Mucky Tundra (1-Aug) : I assumed that both guys will get paid, just a matter of when or how we get there
Zero2Cool (1-Aug) : McLaurin nor Micah going anywhere. They will get money

beast (30-Jul) : RIP site 😭
Zero2Cool (30-Jul) : Site will die, I have to restart it.
Zero2Cool (30-Jul) : Quinn stinks. Lot of underthrows. (my guess)
