i'll give you Jenkins, but he was injured last season. to list a bunch of defensive players on a team that had a losing season mainly because of the way the defense played, is just not a valid way to prove your point.

Does it mean we have alot of guys that noone else wanted lol. Your list has some valid point to it Zero but cmon the rest of them is like who the hell are these guys. Players to fill in so we have the right amount of players?
Just Imagine this for the next 6-9 years. What a ride it will be 🙂 (PS, Zero should charge for this)

What exactly IS my point? I thought I was just posting something informal and interesting. You have NO choice but to 'give' me Jenkins, Woodson, Tramon at the very LEAST.

I have to agree, most of those players aren't even gonna be on the season roster. Counting those players isn't really legit because every team is kind of like this at this point of the season.

I think Ted Thompson is waiting to see what he grabs from the draft and then is willing to plug the holes via FA.

- Pretty much a safe move IMO and nothing like what the bears just pulled.

- IMO we have a good team as it is; but we do have some pretty big holes that Need to be addressed. If the season starts without them being addressed in a significant manner then that does not bode well for us this next season.

- The front 7 especially the front 3
- Our Oline; injuries, need more time for arod to throw and better blocking for our RBs.

I dont really seeing us needing too much more on our roster.

I have never been attracted to the "sign a big name guy" mentality. I would much rather see an improvement in the way the team develops the guys that we draft. It takes longer but it's the best way to build a franchise that can be successful over a long period of time. Hopefully all of the defensive and str/conditioning coaches we hired this offseason can get it done. I think it was the right way to go.

Sorry Steve i have to disagree on this one, that was the way to do it back in the 70's and 80's when there wasn't a free agency, that just don't work in this day and age. With free agency you will always be losing players to it no matter what so if we stay with the Ted Thompson plan we will always be rebuilding IMO.
