Packers coach Matt LaFleur is pushing back against the idea that Green Bay was looking for a replacement for Aaron Rodgers in the draft. LaFleur said that the Packers just ended up with Love because he was the best player left on their draft board after some other players were selected, and not because they [more]

I miss when PFT had more common sense and was purposely comedic... also wish it'd allow people to post complaints, as I've given up trying to post anything their, as 80% of the time they won't allow something to be posted, when talking about the article, instead of the nonsense side debates.

But anyways, on this article, they attempt to point out the flaw in LaFleur's logic, that they simply the other guys they targeted were drafted, so they went with QB Love.... and when they attempted this, they failed, as they attempted to point to the trading up, as they went after him, not that he simply flew to the Packers.

They missed the "targeted" part... which implies, the Packers either had a tier list.or a targeted list and the other guys on that list were taken, leaving just QB Love.... not that he was the only player left as PFT implies LaFleur meant, but that he was the only player left on their targeted list left, and target and get one of them they did.

So despite PFT failed logic, there is no flaw in what LaFleur said. They had certain guys targeted, and traded up and grabbed the guy that hasn't been drafted yet.

PS: No officially word on whom else was on that list, but rumor has it that a couple of WRs were, but they didn't fall like the Packers hoped, and rumor has it that they thought LSU WR, that the Vikings drafted, might of been the guy the Packers thought that would fall and they'd be trying to trade up for.

Rodgers has plenty on money and one SB ring. I’m sure the only thing he could want is another championship.

I remember when Rodgers just won a ring & GB drafted an Army West Point QB.

Mucky Tundra (44m) : and because it's not a dynasty league (which makes a lot more sense to be ability to trade picks)
Mucky Tundra (44m) : Oh I know; I was just exploring and it blew my mind that you could trade picks because of the whole reordering thing
Mucky Tundra (45m) : Zero, I think I preferred my offer: your 1st for my 15th rounder
Zero2Cool (1h) : Keep in mind, we do a draft reorder once all members locked in
Zero2Cool (1h) : You can have my 12th Rd for your 2nd round

beast (2-Aug) : I believe it's technically against the CBA rules, but Jerry just calls it a simple unofficial chat... and somehow gets away with it.
beast (2-Aug) : Jerry Jones is infamous for ̶n̶e̶g̶o̶t̶i̶a̶t̶i̶n̶g̶ chatting with players one on one... and going around the agent.
Mucky Tundra (1-Aug) : Oo just saw a blurb saying that Dallas negotiated directly with Parsons and not through his agent
Mucky Tundra (1-Aug) : I assumed that both guys will get paid, just a matter of when or how we get there
Zero2Cool (1-Aug) : McLaurin nor Micah going anywhere. They will get money
Mucky Tundra (1-Aug) : the Synder years or do they take care of one of their own?
Mucky Tundra (1-Aug) : Do the Commanders risk losing a top WR with an emerging QB just because he's turning 30 and potentially risk damaging the rebuild from
Mucky Tundra (1-Aug) : Turns 30 this September, plays at a high level and Washington has some cap space I believe
Mucky Tundra (1-Aug) : More interesting is Washington with Terry McLaurin
Mucky Tundra (1-Aug) : I would imagine Dallas will resolve this issue with a truckload of money

beast (30-Jul) : RIP site 😭
Zero2Cool (30-Jul) : Site will die, I have to restart it.
Zero2Cool (30-Jul) : Quinn stinks. Lot of underthrows. (my guess)
beast (30-Jul) : How did Quinn Ewers effect where Golden was drafted?
dfosterf (30-Jul) : All I've experienced was late at night or early morning. I just figured you were doing something in the background
Zero2Cool (30-Jul) : Site sure seems to be down more than up
dfosterf (29-Jul) : 50 cent hookers? I'm moving to Green Bay. I thought it was just real estate that was more affordable there. 😂
Zero2Cool (29-Jul) : Sure seems site going down more than 50¢ hooker
Mucky Tundra (27-Jul) : Golden with two TDs in red zone drills today
