Here's another name to throw out there. It could be a decent pick if he slips a bit. NFLdraftcountdown.com has us taking him with our second 3rd rounder, although I'd prefer the 4th round or so. Comparisons are to Teddy Bruschi. 16.5 tfl and 9 sacks in 2008.

I'm beginning to think OT and DE are bigger needs than a 3-4 OLB, so these later guys are starting to appeal to me more (although I will do somersaults if we get English).

He's just another one of those 'ok' guys. If we're talking about a 4th to 6th pick here I would like to have someone with serious potential, not just someone who is doomed to an eternity of backup roles. Sorry, that's just my opinion.

Edit: And I also know that it's not realistic or fair to expect a mid-round pick to do great things, but I would be fine to know it CAN happen, and I just don't see that with Veikune.

That's really what it comes down to though, isn't it, being able to determine who in the later rounds is destined for great success in the NFL, when none of the teams picking before had predicted it.
