So what you are saying Z is that slow speed, a poor arm and the inability to see over the offensive line are the only obsticles he has?

LOL.. Yes.

Think Brett with less of an arm and more clumsy in his conventional drop..

he signed with the Brownies today even after Leach basically called Mangini a dick at the weekend over comments he made about Crabs

Good to see he got picked up by the Browns. When they rid of either Anderson or Quinn, he should defintely be the back up.

Name one Texas Tech QB that has succeeded in the NFL. Exactly.

Well if Vince Young went to Texas Tech i might agree with you. But you bring up a great point Young is tall and has a huge arm, also has very good feet lol and he is a flop. I also said someone said he was short i didn't know 6'2 was short lol.
Just Imagine this for the next 6-9 years. What a ride it will be 🙂 (PS, Zero should charge for this)

I would love to see a couple of the "too short" QBs come up to play in Canada. Particularly Chase Daniel. It's a different game up here, and I am fan of that as well as the NFL. Shorter QBs often do well here - the very best to ever play this game was Doug Flutie. He was REALLY too short to play in the NFL, and did not fit the Pro Style offense at all.

I think that the NFL teams are at some point going to have to come to terms with the fact that they will be drafting more and more QBs that have not played in a Pro Style offense in college. Various spread offense schemes seem to be coming into vogue at more and more schools. I suspect that the development time of a new QB will become a year or two longer, and it will be difficult to draft QBs that are ready to step into a starting role in the league.

I am happy that Graham Harrell latched on somewhere. I really enjoyed watching his offense!

I certianly wouldn't say Brett is short. He is 6'3" or 6'4".....I am 6'1" and he is at least two or three inches taller than me.

I should have added the height as an exception as well.. ;)

BTW.. Harrell didn't sign with the Brown's... he attended there camp on a workout basis. That is unless he signed today.
