Holy crap, we're still writing about this?

I wonder how many sports writers will hit the unemployment line the day Favre truly retires.

Always liked that word, foster. Got me thinking, tho. What's the opposite of a bete noire? Une femme blanc?

(Qui ma bete noire est "sideline reporter," ma femme blanc est Jessica Biel?)
What phrase should replace the underlined bit?

So, I think the original post is pretty decent and procure a decent (most likely rehashed) discussion. Anyone?

I should have been listening instead of checking out my French teacher's

If you need a bad rendition of La Marseillaise, I'm your guy. :thumbleft:

As to the article.

I want to add number 11.

We should not care. His motivations are his own. Even if he wants to "stick it to the Pack"

So what?

Heh. Unfortunately for them, the networks are eliminating sideline reporter positions  with a vengeance. Even Chris Myers is in the booth now.

Want a different opinion.. I think it speaks loudly to the fact the most have accepted the fact that no one is solely to blame and many have moved on.

I call the progress from the days were this would have been a heated repetitive circular debate.

I agree, most have taken that angle on this. I think most (as proven by SOME in this thread) don't give the topic any respect or care in the world. I fall in line with that most of the time, lately, but with the game coming up, I think it's time to get fired up about it. 🙂

I don't think it speaks of disrespect at all.. more so, drama overload.

Personally, I would rather focus upon the strategies of the game to defeat the opposition than the treading in the wallows of drama past.

But I do agree, this will be an element of the game, however I think grossly over hyped.
