Nice write up RedSox, +1.

Living in Chicago, Packers fans are hated regardless. The Packers fans that live in Chicago are more hated than the guys up in Wisconsin...thats for sure. However, I haven't heard anything out of the norm in this regard. It might be because they are all still on their "Cutler is God" trip....

If 90% of people now turning on Favre is because of a few people refusing to criticize Favre, then he did not mean that much to that fan base in the first place IMO.

More than a few.

And you are preaching to the choir. I don't hate Favre at all. He is still my all-time favorite Packer. And I think hating Favre because of his crazy fans is lame. Its not Favres fault a lot of his fans have their heads up his ass.

What is all the pigeonholing about loving or hating Favre? I will always love the guy, but that doesn't mean I'm going to kiss his ass for all of eternity and defend him when I know he has many many faults and needs to be held accountable for some or a lot of what has taken place in the last 1 1/2 years.

I am first and foremost a Packer fan and will root for the QB we have in house. Because Brett chose to put on the purple helmet with sperm on the side means he is the enemy for now. When he goes in the hall of fame I would most certainly hope he chooses to represent the GBP.

I dunno I can't even talk to any fans of another team without THEM bringing up Favre so I don't really quite understand the other teams fans crying about our fans talking about him.

I am sure if other people would STFU about Favre then Packer fans would be more than happy. That's how I feel personally about it anyways.

True.

Question, this is not related to Favre because he's going in as a Packer but in general is the players choice or the Halls choice how he goes in? I think in Baseball, the HOF committee decides what team?

Being loved or hated usually means that you invested enough for others to judge. You were in the game, so to speak. I would worry far more for those that are not...The endeavor kind of irrelevant.

I hope this doesn't come off as disrespectful of your thoughts and efforts on the subject, RedSox, but who gives a shit? If I was worried about how I was perceived by fans of other teams, I would have a new favorite team every week. But I don't. I love the Packers, and if fans of another team hate me because I'm a Packer fan, they can kiss my ass.
