The Dallas Cowboys showed the country on Sunday night why theyre the early favorite to win NFC.

The loss dropped the Packers to 2-1, though they still hold a one-game lead over Minnesota and Chicago for first place in the NFC North Division. Dallas remained unbeaten at 3-0. The New York Giants are the NFC's only other unbeaten team.

The Cowboys gave Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers his first taste of how tough a defense can make life on an NFL quarterback when it can turn on the heat. The Cowboys put more pressure on Rodgers than he faced in his first two games this season and with the help of a couple of blitzed kept the Packers out of the end zone on their first three trips into the red zone. Dallas also shut down halfback Ryan Grant for the night (13 carries for 54 yards). Read More....

Look, in terms of talent, the Cowboys are the class of the NFL and the packers have talent but not to the degree that the Cowboys do.

However, I like our chances in another game if it comes to it in the playoffs. The offense needs to run the ball more and needs to capitalize when youre inside the 5 yard line like we were tonight.

Defensively, the run defense was horrible tonight, I'm not sure what to do about that but we held TO and Witten down.
Thank You 2005 White Sox!

Yes.

Packers lost tonite. I thought the key to the loss was a lack of a running game and a completely worn out defense.

What do the Packers have to improve their run game and improve on a mediocre pass rush?

I still don't understand WHY our WR's couldn't get open against those guys.

I think the main problem was the Cowboys' pass rush, which did not allow the longer routes to develop, took away some of Rodgers' throwing lanes, and did not allow him to get into a good rhythm. If he wasn't so mobile, he would've been sacked about ten times.

That is sugar coating a turd...our o-line and d-line didn't show up to play tonight. When a QB has little time to pass like tonight he had better hit his hot read often and draw plays up the middle could have slowed the rush. The quick slant was a non factor tonight and well executed screens could have burned the nonstop rush.

Our line got owned. Reminded me of watching a Dallas-GB game in 1995. And sorry to people in the chat that got mad at my comments. I'm just showing off frustration of always getting owned by the Boys. And dammit it's happening again 12 years later.

Hit the nail on the head there. I was saying in the offseason that we need to improve our OL and there were a lot of people who just put their heads in the sand and said not necessary, everything's fine.

With 2 things - a better run D, and a better OL, we can beat the Cows.

Mucky Tundra (4-Aug) : and because it's not a dynasty league (which makes a lot more sense to be ability to trade picks)
Mucky Tundra (4-Aug) : Oh I know; I was just exploring and it blew my mind that you could trade picks because of the whole reordering thing
Mucky Tundra (4-Aug) : Zero, I think I preferred my offer: your 1st for my 15th rounder
Zero2Cool (4-Aug) : Keep in mind, we do a draft reorder once all members locked in

beast (2-Aug) : I believe it's technically against the CBA rules, but Jerry just calls it a simple unofficial chat... and somehow gets away with it.

Mucky Tundra (1-Aug) : Oo just saw a blurb saying that Dallas negotiated directly with Parsons and not through his agent
Mucky Tundra (1-Aug) : I assumed that both guys will get paid, just a matter of when or how we get there
Zero2Cool (1-Aug) : McLaurin nor Micah going anywhere. They will get money
Mucky Tundra (1-Aug) : the Synder years or do they take care of one of their own?
Mucky Tundra (1-Aug) : Do the Commanders risk losing a top WR with an emerging QB just because he's turning 30 and potentially risk damaging the rebuild from

beast (30-Jul) : RIP site 😭
Zero2Cool (30-Jul) : Site will die, I have to restart it.
Zero2Cool (30-Jul) : Quinn stinks. Lot of underthrows. (my guess)
beast (30-Jul) : How did Quinn Ewers effect where Golden was drafted?
dfosterf (30-Jul) : All I've experienced was late at night or early morning. I just figured you were doing something in the background
Zero2Cool (30-Jul) : Site sure seems to be down more than up
