This is what I'd like to see from here on out this season:

TJ, College, Spitz, Sitton, Babre

backups are Clifton, Tausch, and Wells

I want the younger lineup in because of run blocking. Should any of them do horribly in pass protection, you then have a veteran to put in.

I think TJ is a player whether it be LT or LG. It has been said that he is too small for the LT position, but what I see is a kid with a good motor, intelligence, and heart. I'd love to draft a LT of the future this year, but if this kid can do the job, then why?

Another question whether or not Colledge and Spitz should get their next long term contracts. I like Spitz alot, but Colledge, I still have some reservations. He's decent, but still has a tendency to get blown up by really good DT's.

TJ has been a pleasant surprise, and I aslo think Babre needs a little love from the forum because he has done a 180 since Ogunlye made him look as foolish as the Packer fans on this board using Viking avatars.

I have no issues with Barbre and Lang staying in the lineup and baking them with veterans.. it is the setup that should have been in place day on this season. Meaning starter with a solid backup in place.. anyway....

Barbre has done a 180? Really.. he played well this past weekend, no doubt. But even through the Lions game he made several mental mistakes and allowed backup lineman to get pressure.. I want him to do well.. I just don't think he has it together yet. Experience and time will provide that, but if we are serious about making a run this year.. he has to get it locked up early or move aside..

Rodgers gives us a chance to make that run this year.. we have to protect him to do so.

On re upping Spitz and Colledge.. Spitz to me is a no brainer.. lock him up. Colledge... it will depend on what he wants in terms of a contract.. he is getting better, but still struggles in the run game. The communication when Spitz is at center seems to be improved over them with Wells in..

It's tough for me to say that anyone on our o-line is a "no brainer" to lock up long term. I don't see Spitz as an above average center. Why would we want to tie ourselves to an average center for four or five season by giving him a long contract? Didn't we just do that with Wells??

If they play this poorly in a contract year, what will happen when they get paid?

I found this interesting, people say we give up so many sacks and thats why we can't run the ball and worry about Rodgers health. Here is some of the other qbs.

Rodgers 25 sacks
Cassell 24 sacks
Big Ben 20 sacks
Favre 18 sacks

so if you look he hasn't been hit alot more than other qbs
Just Imagine this for the next 6-9 years. What a ride it will be 🙂 (PS, Zero should charge for this)

Of course the Chiefs, the Packers, the Vikings, and the Steelers are all in the top 8 for giving up the most sacks, with the Chiefs and Packers being #1 and #2. Nice way to cherrypick your statistics. 😛

Yeah, Barbre's looking better than he was earlier this year.

If only those Chiefs had listened to Mr. Molder and drafted Eugene Monroe.

Anyway, we have a bye week in there. The Chiefs haven't. We'd still have 29 sacks if we played the same amount of games.

Lets face it, Dhaze. Our O-line is awfull, but showing signs of improvement. I don't know why you're trying to deny this.

And Big Ben will always be near the top of the sack list. He can take it. The man is build like a fullback and moves around the pocket with just as much grace, as well.
