Even though Mooch is a fellow "Yooper" and we went to the same college,
I would like to see Gruden come to Green Bay.

Yeah Holmgren would really get on Favre. I think someone needs to get on Rodgers about hanging onto the ball like he does. Again, I don't think it's near as bad as some make it out to be (today it was though) but it's still an occurring problem that needs to be fixed and it's not. McCarthy isn't doing that.

Speaking of Holmgren.....

How about a Holmgren in a Bill Parcells type role in Green Bay and hire Gruden or Mooch as the head man.

I was thinking about that. I'd like Holmgren back with the franchise but not as HC. That looks like a Joe Gibbs repeat to me.

This is starting to feel eerily like the 70's and 80's.
I never gave up on them back then so I guess I can endure this as well.

Take the "Hate Level" of the biggest G.M. hater on this forum and multiply it by 10.

That would be me as a "Coach Hater" on on this forum, if they hired Sannahan.

Is there no memory here.... this weasel faced, cap cheating fuck-head, cost the Packers a Super Bowl Win.

I would rather eat my own feces for breakfast every morning for a year, then have this menstrual breath dick head walking the sidelines at historic Lambeau as a head coach.

You're a little too ambiguous here R.P, could you please clarify what you really feel? :)

I can't pinpoint the exact reason, but my general sense was that he never maximized the talent that he had on the team outside of his glory day stretch w/ Elway and Davis.

It only took one thread for the "Ted Thompson ego" idiocy to rear its head.

Sigh. I wish this discussion weren't necessary. But that was... embarrassing. Iron Man had this right, IMO, and I'll go ahead and say I was wrong to disagree with him. Hell, I think half the team should be fired as well, but since you can't do that Mm's going to have to be the guy. You don't take a team that played the Vikings and Bengals tough and lose to the 0-7 2009 Bucs.

With this club, I don't think you want an unproven guy. Just because Tomlin's done well with Pitt, that doesn't mean Frazier would be a good HC - he might be, but then again McCarthy might have been.

Of the 'available' guys, I think it's Gruden, with Mooch a somewhat-distant second - Mooch is too nice, and this team needs Not Nice. This team needs Fear, and Chucky would bring that Fear. GB is a total WCO team, and changing that makes no sense. This team (and its QB) needs a coach they can fear.

If I were Thompson I'd let Mm know that the Dallas game is his GB HC career - and a win will only buy him one more game. Game-by-game - first loss and Capers is installed as interim HC for the balance of the season. Sounds extreme, but the message has to be sent to everyone involved with the team that under-performing won't be tolerated. And honestly, they're at a point now that each additional loss is another nail in the coffin for this season.

Sorry for the ramble - my choice would be Gruden.

I'd really like for us to stop trying to relive the late 90's. It's not working and it won't work.

Break free. Let it go. Move forward. Find new genius's. (there a dime a dozen!!!)

Mucky Tundra (4-Aug) : and because it's not a dynasty league (which makes a lot more sense to be ability to trade picks)

Zero2Cool (30-Jul) : if PH dies, there is packerpeople com available
Zero2Cool (30-Jul) : database is on new host, eventually website will follow
Mucky Tundra (30-Jul) : Zero, regarding Ewers, you are correct.
Zero2Cool (30-Jul) : Sadly, this might be our life for awhile. I could put it on another host, but seems it was slower, although more stable

beast (30-Jul) : RIP site 😭
Zero2Cool (30-Jul) : Site will die, I have to restart it.
Zero2Cool (30-Jul) : Quinn stinks. Lot of underthrows. (my guess)
beast (30-Jul) : How did Quinn Ewers effect where Golden was drafted?
dfosterf (30-Jul) : All I've experienced was late at night or early morning. I just figured you were doing something in the background
Zero2Cool (30-Jul) : Site sure seems to be down more than up
