It was nice to see the way Green hit defenders. Watching Grant shuffle his feet and shy away from contact was infuriating.

He looked pretty good, and Grant looked like he was paying attention to that. Good running combo, and one of the very few bright spots today. Congrats to him for the record.

I'm glad Green got his record, but the series in which he got it was NOT the time nor the place. It was obvious the offense was focused more on getting him his record than on moving the chains or scoring points. That pissed me off royally. Who gives a shit about a rushing record when attaining it puts you into a three-and-out? Green had the rest of the season to accumulate those yards -- get the first down!

I remember seeing your reaction in the chat, and couldn't agree more. That said, the Packers seem to try quite a few things other than moving chains of any sort. However, this is about Ahman, and I congratulate him.

it seems to me that Ahman wants to win more than anyone else on the field. Everytime ive seen him run, he has hit the defenders harder than they hit him, and you can just see it in his face that he is wanting to win.

Yes. Although I will argue that Woodson wants it as much if not more.

I'll take Green's 3 yard gains that punish someone over Grants 4 yard gains that he flops down after getting his twinkle toes brushed upon.

I want a team that will punish players. Make them think TWICE about putting their face in a tackle. Make them tentative.

Exactly! For some reason whoever was calling the plays thought the game was in the bag so they could fiddle fuck around with personal records.?! Absolutely unacceptable! Heads should roll!!

I'm glad you watched the game.

11 plus minutes left and five point lead.
Grant had three consecutive runs that put us in 2nd and 6. Green runs for 9 yards, first down.
They give it to Green on the same play he got 26 previously, this time he gets three.
2nd and 7 they give it to Green again and he gets two more yards.
3rd and 5, incomplete pass.
4th down, punt.

Are you really thinking that Green was being force fed the ball for the record in an away game after knowing this information?

Packers were trying to run down the clock and move the chains. They had the ideal third down and to go yards. 3rd and 5 is VERY manageable. The problem is we failed to convert.

As much as I criticize mm's play calling. This series does not deserve that criticism. I do think it's funny. STOP PASSING THE BALL, RUN RUN RUN! Then they run run run, its PASS THE BALL STOP GETTING PERSONAL RECORDS.

I think if you look deeper you can see this was not a simple ploy to get a personal record on an opponents turf. I think it was about doing what was best for the team and trying to moving the chains to eat more time.

Congrats to Green. Wish the rest of the team (besides Woody and Driver) would play as hard as Green was today.

I 100% disagree with your opinion as it does not hold any ground at all. Watch the game again and this time, pay attention and understand Football 101.
