It was a solid first game for the rookie Brad Jones, but I didn't see anything outstanding from him. Dallas's starting OT got knocked out in the first half, and Jones was still not able to generate much pass rush. He does look smoother in coverage than Kampman does, though--which isn't saying much.

Kampman will start when he comes back from his injury, but maybe Jones has passed up Poppinga, anyway.

I wonder what Jamal Reynolds would have been able to do in a 3-4.

My guess is he still would have been a big waste of space and money

Question is do we play Kampman next week? Westbrook sat out two weeks after his concussion and still got one today. Do we risk letting Kampman get another concussion?

What law is there that says we cannot put him in a rotation with Johnny Jolly?

Personally, I think that has a hell of a lot of potential.

Kampy? He'd have to bulk up about 70 lbs.

Quote box fixer strikes again! :P

No one makes excuses like that about our OL so I'm not going to hear it about someone elses OL either.

Mans game. Man UP!

How many games have we started our original starting five OL? 2 games? So, injuries or not, the players did what they were supposed to do. Win.

Unfortunately...there might come a time where I, and many other Kampman fans will have to face the music with his departure. Kampman is Packers people and undoubtedly one of the biggest role models on the team.

I knew once the 3-4 was announced, Kampman would have to adjust or leave. I was actually shocked the Packers didn't try to do something with him before October 20th. I thought either the Packers didn't try or no team was interested to give up something for Kampman (I doubt this).

I don't think the Packers defense looked better because Kampman was out. Capers said himself it was easier to unleash the defense because the 'Boys abandoned the run. If Kampman was in, he would have been a bigger threat to Dallas' run game so they still would have abandoned the run and Kampman would have been unleashed. I believe the Packers would have had the same results, maybe Romo would be eating more grass.

Fans shouldn't get attached to players but it is easier said than done. I am a big time fan of Kampman because he is a true professional on and off the field. He is a tough s.o.b. and offenses have to worry as much about him as they do Jared Allen, when his hand is in the ground. I am all for keeping Kampman unless some huge offer (outstanding offensive lineman or a nice draft pick) comes along. Either way, if the Packers trade Kampman they better be getting the upperhand in the deal
I also wouldn't mind seeing Kampman bulk up and put his hand back in the ground if that is even a possiblity.

we win + kampman wasn't there = brad jones is an upgrade over kampman. errrm sorry don't understand this logic. it was one game that had a whole lot of other factors that contributed to us winning, none of them were 'Kampman wasn't playing'. While I think the media like to point out his struggles in coverage there's as many highlights of him doing his job as there are of him not.

I think this defense needs Kampman and needs Kampman to buy into the system, 100%. I'm not saying he hasn't, or isn't, just stating what I think.

Zero2Cool (4-Aug) : Packers sign CB Corey Ballentine
Zero2Cool (4-Aug) : I'm not sure how to kill the draft order just yet so it's not so confusing.
Mucky Tundra (4-Aug) : *to be able
Mucky Tundra (4-Aug) : and because it's not a dynasty league (which makes a lot more sense to be ability to trade picks)

beast (2-Aug) : I believe it's technically against the CBA rules, but Jerry just calls it a simple unofficial chat... and somehow gets away with it.
beast (2-Aug) : Jerry Jones is infamous for ̶n̶e̶g̶o̶t̶i̶a̶t̶i̶n̶g̶ chatting with players one on one... and going around the agent.
Mucky Tundra (1-Aug) : Oo just saw a blurb saying that Dallas negotiated directly with Parsons and not through his agent
Mucky Tundra (1-Aug) : I assumed that both guys will get paid, just a matter of when or how we get there
Zero2Cool (1-Aug) : McLaurin nor Micah going anywhere. They will get money
Mucky Tundra (1-Aug) : the Synder years or do they take care of one of their own?
Mucky Tundra (1-Aug) : Do the Commanders risk losing a top WR with an emerging QB just because he's turning 30 and potentially risk damaging the rebuild from
Mucky Tundra (1-Aug) : Turns 30 this September, plays at a high level and Washington has some cap space I believe
Mucky Tundra (1-Aug) : More interesting is Washington with Terry McLaurin
Mucky Tundra (1-Aug) : I would imagine Dallas will resolve this issue with a truckload of money

Zero2Cool (30-Jul) : if PH dies, there is packerpeople com available
Zero2Cool (30-Jul) : database is on new host, eventually website will follow
Mucky Tundra (30-Jul) : Zero, regarding Ewers, you are correct.
Zero2Cool (30-Jul) : Sadly, this might be our life for awhile. I could put it on another host, but seems it was slower, although more stable
beast (30-Jul) : How long will it be down?
beast (30-Jul) : RIP site 😭
Zero2Cool (30-Jul) : Site will die, I have to restart it.
Zero2Cool (30-Jul) : Quinn stinks. Lot of underthrows. (my guess)
beast (30-Jul) : How did Quinn Ewers effect where Golden was drafted?
dfosterf (30-Jul) : All I've experienced was late at night or early morning. I just figured you were doing something in the background
Zero2Cool (30-Jul) : Site sure seems to be down more than up
